Making some foliar spray. Weighing up 0.11g of pure Triacontanol extract in a glass with a few drops of Polysorbate20. Nuke that in the microwave til you see it turning clear through the door. Now you have Triacontanol paste.

Mix in a little water, a good thing is to have a cup with RO water on the side in the microwave so you can fill up the glass with warm water so it doesn't brake.

Repeatedly nuke it in the microwave. Add more water and repeat at least two times. Add the solution in the glass to the Pepsi bottle, fill it up with RO water.

Look for precipitates, you may see minor but should look overall very clear. You now have 100ppm stock TRIA solution in a 50oz Pepsi bottle. 16oz of that in a 50oz pressure sprayer with 0.6g kelp/humic blend and 0.1g aminos.

Final solution is 30ppm TRIA with kelp/Humic, aminos and Polysorbate20/Tween20, pH to 5.8. I think only used about 10ppm last run, most times I use 30 ppm in flower. Let's see how they respond! Cheers!

Morning after foliar spray.

Praying Skunk #1 cuttings. She's a crazy fast rooter and loves the water. Cheers!

Mom's are getting better air circulation in a couple of days. Maybe I'll solder something tomorrow. I should have at least 10 delta fans left, found a dimmable transformer and a 24V fan, but it's fucking dirty and nasty. Need a good cleaning.

I'm just a lazy stoner. Lol! :eyesmoke:

I was wondering what medium are u using for your mothers , I started mine in a small pot with FF happy frog and was thinking when there ready for transplant I wanted to put them inside a promix in 5gl pots,
It's just regular peat based Biobizz light mix. Promix is basically the same thing.

Everything is looking awesome. It’s nice to go over other grows, and see how it’s done without getting all the feed from bottles.

Nice work! :peace:

Thanks dude! It sure is a ritual every week lol! Manufacturers all use the same stuff in their bio stimulants/boosters. I've heard Canna Boost supposed to be Triacontanol, aminos, fulvic acid and vitamins, potassium sorbate as preservative.

It sure works but if you can make a more concentrated product from the same extract why not try to make it yourself? That's always been my mentality, reading labels and seeking out the secrets about the agricultural industry and what ingredients they can list and what they can't on the label.

I only want to pay for mineral salts. Everything else should be in form of dry extracts for better shelf life IMO.

Peace! :peace:

Day 40. Been lazy, topped off with Dyna Gro today. Mixing a new top off can tonight. Aero girls getting foliar later today.

Lowered EC from 1.0 to 0.85 for the Aero girls. They are showing early signs of tip burn. Let's follow their demands!

Res change for the DWC ladies yesterday. This is why you should do weekly res changes. A lot of cellulase and old roots. Probably 14 days since last res change. Usually weekly but I've been busy lately.

Skunk #1 cuts are starting to shoot roots.

3 days apart, started to develop roots after 7 days. They're officially rooted. Cheers!

Ok so now I’m curious lol so when you say analog is that the old school heavy duty magnetic ballast ? And how is it not showing wave lengths unless your camera is of high quality I mean what do those ballast run at 60hz .. and is it HPS or MH ? Lol I ask a lot of questions

Edit :the green is looking perfect in those tents are those your misted girls ! Very heathy they are gonna be frosty!

No worries! Yes all analogs, the 600w magnetic is probably 15 years old. Still chugging along. Only thing I had to replace is one of the capacitors lighting the bulb.

That's what's good about old tech, it's almost always repairable. It's one 600w HPS(high pressure sodium) at 2000K and 315w CMH(Ceramic metal halide) at 3100K. Cheers!

ok now I really like how you have best of both that’s perfect that’s what I want have eventually but right now I’m swapping HPS to MH last 2 -3 weeks mainly after it’s not getting fat anymore. I agree completely though old tech is where it’s at I had some from when I purchased my first light 10 years ago I made the mistake of selling them to a bud replaced with digital now and there’s no way I’m taking that apart and replacing capacitors , transistor s or anything for that matter ... those old school ballast are like the old school amplifier I used to blow an amp and I could take it apart re soldier what ever failed and they where bulletproof

Lowered EC to 1.1 for Hifi 4G and 1.0 for StrawberryAKeil. New school meets Old school. Cheers!

Noticed some weird deficiencies on older growth today(K). pH was way off when I mixed the top off jug today.

Calibrated and it was displaying 6.5 instead of 7. Probably been off only for 3 days since I last mixed a jug. Back to weekly calibrations. Cheers!

Day 48 tomorrow they've been flowering for 7 weeks(7 weeks + 10 days from flip). Just ripening up now.

I think StrawberryAKeil is a 12 week flowering girl. She's still shooting pistils like there was no tomorrow. Lol!

Hifi 4G probably only needs two more weeks before I start to harvesting from her. Pictures suck, potato phone. Lol! Cheers!
