Record number of bananas, is this smokable?

This is my first indoor grow and one of my 3 bagseed plants Hermed out on me.

now The pollen sac stuff is easy to spot for me as it is super obvious. I’m in day 50 of flowering and these banana like growth has been prevalent in the buds. Now as far as I recall bananas are not this numerous.

has this turned into a banana machine that is completely unsmokable? Should I abort this gurl?

thanks a million for the help and input you guys provide.

Thank you for the sarcasm hydrokid. I genuinely am lost; this plant is isolated from the others. Should I kill it or let it finish its cycle?

There are just way too many nanners for me to want to let it ride out personally. Everything will be covered in pollen. Just opening the tent will contaminate you, and you could very likely pollinate your other plants without even knowing by going from one grow space to another.

It might not be capable of pollinating others or even itself, but then again it might. Better safe than sorry.

As you said though, looks like it's not going to be a good smoke even if it does finish. It's a shame, but I'd bin it.

Ok first of thank you both.

Pollinating is not a big concern for me as my 2 other plants are in another room within a grow tent; and I always shower after tending to this gurl.

I’m thinking about cannabutter or hash only for this plant, and I have no other stash. You guys think that it will be useless for those purposes too?

Cannabutter sounds good. I wouldn't know about hash. Never done it myself. You could also make some tea

An ice water hash I think should be an option at least. Water should wash away the pollen. If you are going to do that.. you should let the trichomes mature. Not sure how potent the hash would be if the trich’s are immature/all clear.

Wow, I've never seen one like that. I've only ever had a couple of them pop out. I'd do away with it, but it sure looks interesting though.

Holy shit!

But a great example of bananas for those who have trouble identifying them.

Not sure it’s worth the trouble ... or the risk. That’s your call.

If you don’t want to waste it, I’d let it mature, dry it, roll it between your hands to help separate the seeds, and crush up the plant, sift it through a screen, pick out the seeds, then add the remaining plant material (even stems, but not the stalk, have a relatively high thc level if your plant is mature), rough-grind that up (chunky NOT powdered!) and throw in a crockpot with virgin coconut oil, set on low (~225f - 280f range) for 4 - 6 hours, strain and enjoy. Just stir occasionally and leave lid off if you notice it browning to a crisp. A littlty browned, toasty is okay.
The seeds have good omega acids. Toast’em a little, grind’em up fine, and throw in yr cereal or if baking something, for a nutricious addition.

This just happened to 4 almost 1lb plants.

They didn't get pollinated badly like that plant would do. But there's a few seeds here and there on each plant. They're still gonna be FIYA haha only found 1 nanner

I bet it’s one of those Tropicana strains lol sorry man. Just jokin. I have never seen such a small banana tree. I wouldn’t keep it. That’s the trail and error of growing.
I was just looking into ONI seed company to because of all their Tropicana crosses. I did not know they are prone to herm. Good thing I didn’t pull the trigger :hump:
