Buds getting dry after I pull them out the jar

Buds are drying up very fast after I pull it out the jar into a bag for a day or too was holding moisture in jars but dry up fast if exposed to air to long.I took the lid off one of my jars for a day and they dam near turned into dust what could cause this? has anyone experienced this ?

Low humidity. Buy Boveda packs. 62%.

They were at about 60% in jar And I will never use but Bovida packs again Took the smell out of every jar I put them in jars did not have the packs kept the smell

I am assuming you are curing...try cutting your air time down. I personally take mine out of the jar for 1-2 hours a day. 24 hours is too much.

just figured they were in the jar long enough over a month and I felt the were to moist for being Jared that long so I took the lid off over night and turned to dust

You had them in a jar for a month? Have you broke one open? You may find mold in the center. When curing I do it over 7-10 days. I pull them out for a couple hours a day and put them back in the jar and put that in a dark place. The whole idea of curing is to pull moisture out of the center to the surface and letting it evaporate.

I open them once a day for a minute or so and mover the jar around

And no mold I just did know how long to keep that 60% moisture

Take them out of the jar get a small fan to blow over them (NOT on them) leave them out for 1-2 hours. Put back in the jar. Do that for 7-10 days...golden.
