running out of height in tent

Any good solutions? I ran the veg stage a bit long and now I'm running out of room, this is 2 weeks into flowering and I'm sure it will get taller. Its only a few inches from the light and I can't raise the light any higher.
I was thinking of trying some training clips, although the stocks are quite large and I'm not sure they will bend easily. Not the greatest strain for indoor growing I guess.

Tie them down or supercrop.

You can place two lines, one about midway up the stalk to hold tight, then the other at the height you intend to take over, in the opposite direction.
Protects your stalk.
Ensure you use something soft at points of connection on the stalk, and only tighten as much as necessary to hold.
Good luck.

Seems like the best solution is to get another tent or move the plants to a larger space...which probably isn't available since you're already using a tent that's maxed out! I don't think you're going to have room at all in the near future! And trust me, if there are any pests/eggs in the soil and they emerge, then they are going to be much harder to control.

Just as an aside....I always used to try and cram as much into the space as I could.....But this last grow, I had a LOT of plants hermie (bag seed experiment) and I ended up with two plants -one in its own tent....And, man, the plants LOVE the extra room! I don't know if its that they are getting more light or more air circulation or what but I'm going to start growing my plants this way more often

Get rid of some of the plants. That's only enough room for one..... defoliate and bend the branches down

sorry, should have mentioned these are growing in hydro so no soil to worry about eggs or anything. I did bring two pants just like this to harvest in the same space but flowered them sooner and didn't have a problem with the height. I really wish I had more room and a larger tent to work with but stuck with this space for now. I had planned to ditch the tomato plants this time but they flowered up and are now full of green tomatoes, plus I like tomato sandwiches also:) I think with some trimming and tying I'll get these to harvest.
Thanks again for your replies and getting me on the right track.

I'd be pinching the tallest branches. This sends growth hormone to the other branches. Tying the tallest branches down does same thing just an alternative. Good luck

Try supercropping, I don't think you have many other options for this grow. Carefully twist/roll the stalk in between your fingers, with thicker stalk it can take longer but take your time doing it so you don't split the stalk. You can fold them down like 90 degrees after that and it may look kind of sad but they will still grow out well.

In the future you should put a net in there, I suggest making a frame out of wood/pvp and some string. Also earlier on you can start with LST spiking and tying to the pot the main stalks as it grow from seed. This has been a method many ppl have suggested to me (I am doing it now, will let you know how that goes): https://www.growweedeasy.com/lbhs-famous-4-way-lst-tutorial-plus-topping-sub-tutorial
