Best cloning techniques

For just a few clones I like to use root riot cubes-i do cut the hole deeper with a razor blade-then I soak them in 6.0 ph water with fulvic acid, seaweed extract, and Southern Ag Bio Fungicide (ie: hydroguard) mixed in. I like to take nice sized clones with well developed stems, cut at an angle, dip in gel then powder, then jam them in a rooter cube that I squeezed all the water out of so it's like a moist sponge. Then I take a quart zip lock, spray the inside once with that same fulvic/seaweed/bacteria water, then plop the clone in the bottom, seal the bag most of the way, then blow into it to puff it up and seal it all the way. Then you put that bag under a nice, MILD light at 75-80 degrees, open it every few days to check the moisture level of the cube, maybe give it a spray if it needs it, then puff it back up and seal it again. Zip Lock method works great, esp if you let the cube get a little dry in cycles...not too dry, but a little dry really stimulates the root growth. I like this method MUCH more than using a dome and it hardly takes up any space if you just need a few clones. I just cloned the 4 plants I'm growing with this method and got 100%. Last year I cloned all my black currant bushes and elderberries using this method and got 100% too. GOOD LUCK FRIEND

I just take some scissors, cut the clone, dip it in cheap Miracle Gro rooting powder and then into small pots of coco. Hasn't failed me yet. Including clones taken after the plant started flowering.

Aero cloners are easy maintenance but if I wanted quick rooted clones I'd go for root riots or rock wool, I've not used the aero cloner enough to be good with it but I like the maintance free aspect at the cost of 4/5 days longer for me.

Rappid rooter works well with clonex. But ive left them in the dome to long, soon as tou see nee growth take it out, if it withers put it back in, if not leave it out or youll damped new growth off.

This is my DIY cloner. This is a separate area from my main tent. I am doing a perpetual grow. Veg area and Flower area.

Easiest way for me has always been to clone straight in water. Here's a few of the ones, just a basic DWC cloner. It's more or less foolproof and don't need any input other than filling the res with water, a few drops of bleach and bloom nutes in a gallon tote.

Roots in 7 days without any hormones, a few days with IBA-K and NAA(KLN,DipnGro etc).

I just cut the stem at an angle and stick it into moist whatever. I've never used any hormones. I prefer the rockwool squares or coco starters over macro plugs for clones, but vice versa for seeds. That's because the slit in the macro plug has the potential to dry the clone stem. On the other hand sometimes my seeds don't want to grow upward and I have to assist them, so the slit gives me access.

That said I bought a cloner about a month ago and I'm looking forward to not having to stay on top of keeping a tiny piece of substrate a wet.

Learn something new everyday didn't know the macro plug could do that an a mate is about to use one very soon just debating are the stems thick enough yet

Cheap humidome, rockwool cubes or jiffys, layer of perlite in bottom of tray and some water.

Snip tips of leaves so clones don't touch each other and create mould.

Lift lid off every couple days for fresh air.

Do the cuttings hang in, or just above the water line?
