For sure some of the freebies are nice, but nothing the buyer can't do themselves. Freebies are all S/F1s. All you nees to do is self one and use the pollen to seed the other. This is part of what i don't get. People like Mephisto because they BREED their genetics to further generations for stability and they bitch about not getting these 1 off crosses from ordering from the seedbanks.

I'm on the fence on this. I'm hoping that their F1's are not random, but actually hand picked crosses of excellent specimens. I think it was back in November, I actually hit a drop and bought enough seeds that I got three sets of F1 freebies, 5 each. Now I'm not exactly sure what to do with them. I only grow about a dozen plants per year (six indoor, six outdoor) so each one needs to have the best possible probability of being top shelf.

My indoor is set up for 3 plants (it's basically a 2x4), and I can fit two runs in per winter. I'm thinking about doing one run of three, and a second run as a sort of SOG to burn up the freebies. Not sure if that would be worth it.

I've got 300+ seeds and over 45 of their strains.

Have you calculated how many plants you grow per year, and how many years worth of seeds you have? I'm concerned that mine will only last about 5 years in the fridge before the germination rate begins to decline rapidly. That's the number one reason I'm trying not to buy anymore.

Nope. When my state goes legal(and it will. The money that the Democrats are throwing out for free needs to be made back somehow) I'll be able to accommodate 3 4x4 tents in my place. And i believe seeds can last over 10 years if kept properly.

I ordered last Monday and it was supposed to be delivered today but they use USPS so that's an automatic 3-14 days delay. It's sad what's happening to the United States postal service they used to be sooo good before all this happened. My last usps order no joke took 8 weeks in transit from the Midwest to Northeast.

Order from a seed bank. These drops are nothing but a ploy to get everyone worked up and create shortages. How do I know, I have over 300 beans and before 2-9 never popped a one. Not hard to get, just have to look. I have 12 in the nursery, consistent, looking good. But really, lots of good genetics out there. Take a breath!

It's a good selling point, the freebies, bit it should NEVER be the determining factor between getting them from the bank or not getting them at all. In truth it's not that much more expensive at the banks. The 3 pack which was really a 3+2 so 5 total was usually $42. So say $8 a seed. $58 for 7 direct and so only $12 more for some of the 7 packs at the bank. Not at all as bad as people make it. If you can't afford an extra $10 to $20 on a seed pack than you should prioritise life and shouldn't be growing anyways.

It's a simple business concept that seems to be going over your head.

Let me try it this way...would you buy a TV from Sony if they opened an online store for an hour every monday? or would you be better off buying it from Bestbuy with a fraction of the hassle?

This didn't go so well last time. I told @Frank Nitty I'd send him a few(6) and dicked around for a few months. Social anxiety kept me from doing it the right way and going to the Post Office and i wrapped them up in tissue and sent them via letter in the mail XD 4 of them got crushed as expected. Well not by me apparently. I did buy him 2 10 packs for his B day of Greenpoint.

Not every, but i dis snag most all of the Originals, Artisnals and a good amount of limiteds. Originals is the most important to grab cause they are the bases for most all the rest of the catalog. I just had a hunch and got what i could when i could before the roof caved in at the secret Meph-cave.

Not ready for Pheno Hunting just yet... I'm kinda not feeling photos at the moment, they're taking longer than I would prefer them to... Those Greenpoint seeds are regs and I will have to find a female out of them and that right now is a waste of my time... Don't know if you were aware that they were regs when you bought them, but I did,and if I had known that you were going to get them, I would have told you not to!!! But you still get an A for effort!!!

I've got a lot of feminized photo beans, but these autos just got me spoiled. Especially after second attempt at LST netted me almost 4 ounces from my best plant! In 90 days from seed.
