Lord, I totally fucked up my Mango Smile. It was a crime. It all started because I treated my outdoor autos almost the same as my outdoor photos, and they finished beautifully. So even though I was told to back way off the nutes, out of habit and ignorance, with my first auto indoor grow I put way too much in the pots (my outdoor are all in the ground, which may have buffered the heavy handed feeding).

It's still alive, and one of the sweetest smelling plants I've ever grown, but no telling how it will finish with all the abuse its taken. Things like being transplanted twice, the second time with an attempt to flush some of the soil and replace it with fresh... yeah, there were a lot of hard lessons. I have 4 more seeds, they'll be better taken care of.

I'm sure yours will be amazing. I got freaked out because after planting it I read (in the Mephisto strain guide) that they can get to be too tall for their 7' ceilings, so I topped it and trained the heck out of it. Keep an eye on the height, but I can tell you if you abuse it enough, you can keep it around 1' tall... LOL... :wall: :eyesmoke:
I am going to do about the same as i did on my Ripley's OG. Top her around 18-21 days at the 4th node and sprrad those 8 branches as wide to to rim of the pot as i can without them breaking, tie them and let it rip. I've never grown 5 gal of coco(i believe it loses potential past 2 and MAYBE 3 gal), but i did want to shoot for a maximum on the Mango cause i think I'll like it.

I think she'll do ok. 90 to 120 cm so definitely a 4 to 5 week vegger if not a tad longer. I love to top them. Just seems easier when the colas are all somewhat similar height even when i get lazy(all the time) on tieing down.
I like to top too, usually go for 4 mains, topping above 3rd node and removing the 1st true set.
Will be nice to have yours to learn from before I start mine hehe

you want me to show you my current Mephisto plants in flower, just to make you feel better? lol so bad
Is it looking rougher than this one? For it's first six weeks it was totally healthy. It had very long inter-nodal spacing and not a lot of leaf mass, but it was green and happy. Then things took a turn for the worse and got bad quickly. It was 100% my fault, I'll do better next time. If this finishes it'll probably produce about an ounce. I am looking forward to trying this one outdoors, they are such a different beast when you put them in the ground.

Too small pots man. Soil, you really do need a 5 gal to get bigger yeilds. Coco you can get 2oz every time out of a 2 liter soda bottle hempy with watering 1 x a day. 4 oz even if you water it 2x a day, not even joking. Unless it's a dwarf/lowrider, less than 3 gal for soil just won't do it. Is what it is, but that Fantasmo is great party smoke. So chill and smile/fits of laughter type. It's great.

I like trees... Every now and then I might top... Not this one though, I'm shooting for the skies!!! LOL!!! I don't think that its going to get much taller, considering the size of the pot... DBC AND SOUR BUBBLY 20210307_221920.jpg

I think Autos have improved over the yrs. I'm a outdoor guy and they have a purpose in giving me something to harvest early but their performance seems much better suited to the indoor game where you can just bomb them w/nonstop light.ccguns
