Got guns?

Good idea. I don't need it compact. I've thought about getting a 1911 too. I need to go down to the shop and check things out in person.

Guns are in short supply though right now. Everyone's buying them.
Nice. yeah i got mine to carry and never got around to getting the permit, since then the g43x, springfield hellcat, and sig p365 were invented and have managed to squeeze the capabilities of the g19 into a slimmer, smaller, better (imo) package.

1911's are great but the inner workings are a bit more complex, i love the simplicity of the polymer guns. Ive heard stories of certain 1911s not functioning correctly with certain ammo brands/types as well which is a bit alarming. It wouldnt hurt to spend a few bucks and rent a couple guns if you have a range with rentals nearby. But i agree with you on shops having bare shelves, i have bought my last few guns and all their ammo online for a markup that i wasnt happy about lol.

I was thinking the G19 before because I saw they had plenty of extra high capacity mags for sale still on their website. I was gonna at least stock up on mags for now. I can always buy the gun separately when they get more inventory. I just want to make sure I get some mags before they ban them. I gotta see what their site lists for mags now.

Or I should actually call them kits since they're not really mags until you put them together, lol.

not sure what your plans for it are, but if you plan to do concealed carry the g19 is almost obsolete at this point, and past 12-15 yards accuracy is difficult. I almost wish id have gone with the g17 for the bigger capacity, and the bigger size makes it easier to shoot, mine never leaves the nightstand anyway
The Glock 17 is definitely easier to shoot, at least for me. It's also my main nightstand piece.

well one great thing about Glocks is the interchangeability of magazines, how high capacity are you talking? g17 mags will fit the g19, g26 will take both of the above. anything over 17 rounds will usually be listed as compatible with "G17/G19" or 17/19/26

Oh shit. I didn't know that. That makes it much simpler. Well their online site says they have none now. I'll have to call them.

That's lame.

I see. The G19 mags don't work on the G17. That's too bad. I get it though. They do have the G19 15 round mags back on their site, but they don't have any G17 mags over 10 rounds right now.

I was about to order them, but I like the idea of the G17 now.

if youre not in a super restrictive state like i am you can get glock mags from a ton of online stores. I did a quick search on gunbroker just to double check and i saw plenty, 15-17-33 round mags and even drums on there

I'm in CO. So it's a little weird. I can't order them online though.

I should let my Biden bucks send me on a machine gun tour. I can rent all kinds of machine guns.
