Can you site a single source recommending that high of EC for a plant that could still be in a solo cup?

eventually when I build up seed stock I'll be popping 20 beans and running with the 4 with the most vigour. That should give me a pretty level grow and canopy. I like auto seeds, this round in the flower tent I've been able to pack it wall to wall with the 4 autos, I'm at 9 weeks from seed with about 3 weeks to go.

For me personally and the amount of space I have to use I'm not sure if I could do that with clones. Mainly because I would need space to keep the mother This means that the clones would need to go straight into the flower room and there's no way they are gonna look like this after 3 weeks. Those plants have like 6 weeks to go man, not sure where you’re getting your 3 week time frame from?

I mean most nutrient companies feed charts state the EC he’s putting in currently, doesn’t mean it’s right or healthy for the plants though since they want you to use more nutes and spend more money with them.

yeah that's true. But you can also get faster growth rates from learning where the line is for the strain you are growing.

What do you mean by citation? You can look up the biodiesel feed chart if you want to.

I'm using little to no defol for a few reasons. If I fuck something up extra leaves mean I've got more of a buffer between having a harvest or having none. All you gotta do is look at some of the nubies on here posting photos of crook plants that they have aggressively defoliated. They ain't harvesting f all from their grows. That plant that you boys love to remind me about harvested 8.5 ounces. It might not have been the prettiest looking bud but it still smokes well and weight is weight. Also you gotta remember that in my part of the world sometimes all a punter can get is horrid PGR crap so if pull out my worst grown weed and put it on the table next to Kanton Wok bud they all think it's quality. I'm not shitting you. But yes when I'm growing from seed to harvest with no issues I'll experiment with defol

And the other reason is that I want to create a baseline. How do I know if defol increases or decreases my harvest if I don't know what I get from it without defol.

You're plants looks super hot, and next time chop off the little side branches before flipping them. You can also defoliation some of that Congo-like mess and still have plenty of leaves.

Also what's going on with the light? Is that a UV bar or another LED? Isn't it blocking some of the light by hanging down so far?

yeah I probably should do a bit of defol. They were hot I nearly burnt them bad. Had 2.8 EC run off this morning so I ran a big flush today and I'll start feeding at 1.6 tomorrow. The leaves were looking k deficient but that deficiency was caused by salt build up and nutrient imbalance in the media. At least having all those leaves gives my plant something to feed from if things are going south.

Not sure what mean by second flush. I have been neglecting to check run off EC. Learnt the hard way that I should be keeping on top of that.

Flush this morning with EC 1.0 about 25 litres per pot. Run off EC has come down to 1.6. I'll keep running the flush until tomorrow morning. When the run off is under 1.4 I'll feed at 1.6
