Other good genetics?

I’ve had good experiences with seedsman own seeds. Also another one is Expert Seeds which seems to go under the radar.

Their sweet cream will stink your house out and put you into a self induced coma.

Also have had some nice plants from Binary Selections (Ronin Garden and Magic Strains collab). Those two also have their own individual auto lines besides the stuff they do together. Chef Anna White Label is another one with some nice-looking gear.

I've been going pretty hard with fast buds over the last year and they have never let me down. They have some new strains out that look pretty amazing. I've got strawberry banana, bruce banner and forbidden runtz being shipped over right now.

I loved BB3 as a photo, I'm really curious to see how FB's auto version does. In that vein I have some of their Jack Herer seeds, but haven't had the time/space to pop them yet.

Night Owl, Rocbud, Dinafem, Sweet Seeds, Dutch Passion, Fast Budz, Bomb seeds. There are PLENTY of good alternatives, Mephisto has just become the N00b grower's seed company.
Why would you say the noob growers seed co ? I've only done about 7 meph grows but they have all been top quality. However, I find the yields to come up a little short compared to some other breeders. Strains like Strawberry nuggets are difficult to work with due to their dense structure and large foliage but they do produce great results. Definitely not a plant I would pick for a noob grower. I was able to pick up some Grapewalker kush today on the Canadian site, hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Don't get fanboy on me now. I said new grower cause that's their fan base. That's who they cater to now that all these new growers popped up during covid, they do 1 google search and Mephisto comes up so that's what they buy not even knowing how to grow. Mephisto is the new grower sponsered company.

I see what you're saying now. Can you really blame that on mephisto though or the hype pumpers ? It doesn't really feel much different with rocbud or night owl right now. Lots of guys pumping photo's of genetics on social media and the new growers are tuning into that. And to be completely fair, I think I may know a guy or 2 here on riu that may have greatly contributed to the mephisto hype in the past.. I'll give you a hint, their names rhyme with Hat and Tank Kitty... :)
A lot of us do it though even unintentionally. I'm guilty of pumping Dinafem and fastbuds for a couple years now. (RIP Dinafem, I'll miss you) They don't have the big hype but I believe Fastbuds to be one of the best auto breeders right now.

Yeah, the hype will never go away but the default new growers choice is Mephisto and it leaves out some other good breeders sadly.

Here is my top list in order from my favorite breeders to least favorite that I have grown out multiple times. I don't think Female seeds will ever leave the bottom spot ever ! I have no issues with any of the other breeders lower on the list, it's just they all can't be on the top.

1-Fastbuds
2-Dinafem
3-Mephisto
4-Dutch Pasion
5-Seedstockers
6-Canuk Seeds
7-Bombseeds
8-autoseeds
9-Female seeds

I know some of you may raise an eyebrow with DP being down @ #4 but it's only because a lot of their auto's run way to long .

Aye same here - really nice selection and got some real wuick
Phenotypes.

Thier GSC is the best tasting strain I’ve tried. Tastes like rhubarb and lemon cookies.

I also went for a strawnana. Sounds amazing!

Now here's the difficult question everyone besides good genetics which are always awesome which strains do you think would go good outside in Phoenix Arizona under a 50% shade cloth?
