i just noticed today my colas are starting to taco i know its because of the light intensity i am just starting flower and i raised the light question is does tacoing cause permanent damage?

yes i got right on it i have 2 new 600 watt hps and i am trying to dial in optimum distance they are growing so fast it was 12 inches from the bulb now its 18
Go to 24 -30 inches...when they recover, slowly drop down to 18 for the finishing.
I use to run the same years ago.

The exact reason I dropped the 2x 600 cool hoods for leds...environmental control.
Hps grows dank no doubt, but controlling temps became an issue Spring, Summer and Fall.
No problem until deep Summer now.

I don't miss the yellow light either, lol. Switched back to LED after using HPS for a few years.

I AGREE with the temp control i have an actual sort of room i grow in so i can air it out and stuff but yeah in a tent i dont see how a person keeps the temp down in the summer without a big electric bill and as far as the yello lights i sleep with my room door open next to my bed and it dont bother me at all
