Top dressing with dolomite

I get that but I use FFHF and I have never had any issues. But it has been a long time since I grew. Wondering if they changed something in the mix. Either way I have a Ph problem and need to fix it.

If your current PH is 7.2, why do you have a problem? If you do topdress with it, I wouldn't go higher than 1 tablespoon per gallon.
I am flipping to flower very soon and I want to bring it down to 6.8. But thanks that is actually what I planned.

Acrually I’ve just realised it’s ph 7.2 - Dol lime is neutral so won’t get you to the ideal range.

Im not sure on how to lower soil pH other than feeds. I know rain water is low pH so could use that to offset?

Are you not going to feed your plants in flower?

All you need to do is pH the water/feed.

That's it. The soil is fine at 7.2. The pH of what goes into said soil is what matters.

Surface applied lime takes time for it to leach into the substrate and likely won't have much effect on the pH of the soil in the near term.
