not much smell but very mellow. caught maybe a taste of coffee last nite in the bong?

I like the coffee earthy dank tones myself, I have a bag, big paper bag with about a pound of popcorn buds, 3-4 strains. Anyways, other day I was rifling threw it smelling out a particular strain that was gassy, old lady told me I looked like a fucking truffle pig digging around haha.

My pre 98 is stinking up the place and it’s not even in flower.

i hope you get the black leaves like i did. it was really cool looking. my nite temps are pretty chilly though low to mid 60'sF. not sure if that is why i got that?

I’m pretty confident in the bubbas genetics, the last one had very little purple and i flowered stressfully hot, it was the worse summer month last year to be late in flower. The structure in this one would fucking kill a scrog net. I’m pumped to see what it can do. It’s going to need support, I already know that.

I need theses plants to stretch, the sin city plants are too compact and not something I would run again regardless quality. I’m crossing my fingers they will unfold during the transition, we will see soon enough.

one weird thing i saw when i harvested the first one, was that some of the leaves on kush 2 that were semi-shaded by kush 1 were half green and half black. i should have taken a pic. ive never seen that before. they turned all black after a bit.

Interesting, I didn’t see that but I do have some odd markings and striping on various leaves in the room, not a issue type mark but maybe genetic or environmental. The last bubba had dark leaves, these ones are lighter and not a crisp ridged if you know what I mean. The other one didn’t have a smell in veg either.

I’m sad I didn’t take a cut of my cookies kush plant, that plant would of killed a room. Thing made me gag trimming it too, rock hard great leaf to flower ratio. Was a nice plant, I still think about that Sunday best plant I tossed too, could of been harvesting those anytime now, that plant stunk.

So yeah, I guess I better flip this room, I’m going to remove a garbage bag of growth this weekend. If it wasn’t a fuck show, I don’t want anything to do with it.



Near perfect VPD, lst is between 75 and 79f, 1200 ppm of co2, 1.2 ec. 19/5 light cycle, 80 ambient. Leaves straight across still showing some taco. I’m blaming my new hps bulb. I dropped the temp down today, will see how it responds, sure as shit isn’t affecting anything.

Pre 98 is now a fucking bush, the plan is to have the side lights lower strip at where I stop defoliating. There will be some chopping going on before I can turn those leds up. Maybe if I get energetic I will throw a meter on them and see what they are set at.

Just noticed the leaves behind the led strip, I will do a before and after pic this weekend.

Fatty indica, and well fed, that middle blade is 2.5” wide, the only plant to get a bit of spotting, it never went further then a few old growth fans. Going to fip the room tonight, be the Easter flip, never done that. Should be looking mid June, beat the heat.

Let the calmag lack a bit, showed up a bit. I am always hesitant to go hard on it because I rather use up my ec on nutes. around 1.4ec, this weekend will be the end of the first week since I flipped.

Looks full, definitely tree like predictions. I will be doing some heavy cutting later, I did take a bag out from the underside. Pic before the HID came on. Front left took some heat from the peroxide, I’m not sure why this time. I have kept use to a minimal, no issues.



I will grab a leaf and pic of the damage from sitting on the diodes, really nothing. A brown square the size of the diode.

It’s been a really good couple of weeks, let’s talk in ppm. I upped co2 to 1350, running floranova bloom and calmag at 700ppm. Dropping 20-40ppm/24hrs and taking about 2-3 gallons a day. PH is stable back to how I expected it to be.

Res changes will be kept minimal now as it seemed to do more bad then good last time. Systems salty but clean. Plants hate air stones this time, I usually run one in the mixing res but with the sealed room, they are all off. Glad to see waterfalls alone work fine, in a sealed room..



Big mop head... Might be some dead root in there, it adds flavour...

Looks like I’m going to have to go in early and do some heavy deforestation. Bubbas growing into the dehu intake. I plan on taking most the fan leaves later. Side lights starting to get buried, movable but they will stay where they are.



Thing has big fans, most of them got cut off.. ain’t nobody got room for that.

I’m not impressed with these sin city plants, I don’t see anything structure wise in my room I want to run again. Maybe I’m just bitter about the whole run, will see how it plays out, see how it flowers. I’m already shopping for what to grow next though.

I cut all the big fans off, fuck those things. Flipped 8 days ago and already went in twice to prune.

Not much to report, backed feed off a bit, 2 weeks since flip today, went in a chopped up the bubba cut pretty good. Waiting for light on this eve to see what it looks like today, left it pretty roughed up.


Pre98 bubbas stem, root mass is huge on this one. The basket is ballooned.



Here’s what that led damage on leaf looks like, the leds are turned down still.

This Friday will be day 20, I have trimmed and pruned a few times now. Here’s the bubba after getting chopped up. Working on the 4th sidelight bar. Side light should work well. Will turn up the watts this week and hit full on the hid, maybe.. was kinda waiting for something worth blasting.

Pic was the couple mins between the led and hid coming on, using mechanical on the led and the hid has a built in timer function, so it’s accurate. Dehumidifier got buried.. The plants in front only had there fans pruned the entire veg. I will show it better once it’s budding.... the anti defoliaters...

Led strips are 22” long, for reference the room is just over 5.5 feet wide and around 7.5 long.
