I used NPK Raw Cane Molasses towards the end of the cycle. Harley Smith talked about it upping the brix, but I don't think it did much.

I’ve noticed it has helped in trichome production. I have also noticed it does make it slightly “sweeter” in flavor. And no there’s no milking involved. Lol.

I would never use that crap on my girls. No molasses or any of that bs either.

Unless you're a purely organic grower, you probably are feeding your plant Mag-sulfate already. Tons of people do feed there plants mag-sulfate via sweeteners, like Botanicare Raw. I bypass Botanicare and just go straight to the Mag-sulfate. You're plant doesn't uptake molasses, the molasses is to feed the beneficials in your rootzone - assuming you're not trying to run a sterile root zone. If you're trying to keep the root zone sterile by all means avoid molasses. If you're trying to keep the root zone sterile, I'd avoid hummingbird nectar too, which is nothing more than sugar water with red dye added to attract hummingbirds. Furthermore, the sugar water (aka hummingbird nectar) you're adding to your feeding functions much like molasses - the sugars feed the benes in the rootzone, not the plant. You could replace the hummingbird nectar with ~tsp of sugar per gallon - I'd use dark brown sugar myself - or do what I do and just use molasses. Ironically the molasses you're so against functions like the sugar water you've discovered. Molasses has the added benefit of providing micronutrients.

So yeah, you didn't discover some new awesome sweetening agent, but thanks for sharing. On the plus side, I guess you stumbled onto the fact that feeding the beneficials in your rootzone can help things out.

Hummingbird nectar??? How exactly are you getting this? Store bought I presume? My gf likes to make it and we have 4 feeders. Its water boiled with sugar. We don't add dye cause wtf for? The hummingbirds don't care what color it is. You say fuck molasses but will use this instead. I would just walk this one back and start doing a little more reading bro. You want a fruity strain, get a fruity strain.
