Making fem pollen from fem seeds

I'm about to do another reversal myself. This time it's Golden Tiger from ACE. I planted 3 regular seeds hoping for both males and females to make more seeds and ended up with 3 females. Not many growers are disappointed when they get all females but I was. Golden Tiger is a cross so it's not like it was a landrace I wanted to preserve. The GT is for future projects and I can work with feminized seeds.

One thing about making feminized seeds is that many just reverse one branch or pollinate just one branch. I prefer to start with two clones. Reversing one and pollinating the other. I've just found that it makes things easier to manage using two small clones.

These are the target plants for producing feminized seed. The smaller one on the left will be reversed and the one on the right will be the target plant. Tomorrow I'll spray the one I'm reversing and then in a few days I'll spray it again and put both in the flower tent under 12/12. I'll spray a couple more times through week three when hopefully both plants will start showing sex and the sprayed plant will show male.

If everything works then the reversed plant will look like this. It should look pure male for the best pollen. Like these. You don't want any pistils. Some previous reversals.

will making fem pollen and seeds be the best way to start getting consistency out of an auto strain? Not being able to take clones seems to be a different set of challenges when it comes to selective breeding. Although im no genius and could be totally stoned and confused...never kno

im about to ask the question of wether you sacrifice the whole auto plant to pollen production, fromwhat i have read it seems to be yes.
it has a short life span and im wondering when to start spraying for the reversal of sex on one.
ive been wondering that question myself, it will be interesting to find out the merits of the pollen.and selective breeding. ive not grown enough of a single strasin to see how differant the plants are to one another

What do you mean by more user friendly? In my opinion it's easier to make STS than it is to make CS, and the STS method is more reliable.

0.5g Silver Nitrate mixed in 500ml water; 2.5g Sodium Thinsulate mixed in a separate container of 500ml water. Slowly add the 500ml silver mixture to the sodium mixture, to make a stock solution. Dilute this stock solution with water at a 1:7 ratio, as a final solution to spray plants with. Should be enough to reverse at least a hundred plants.
I agree with this! I just used a 500mL bottle of 40ppm CS on a cut and it took just over 3 weeks to show balls! I sprayed once a day from a week before flowering. STS takes 3-4 sprays and it saves you heaps of time and energy!

how long does the solution last and how do i keep it in a fridge? i would read it up, but readings not my strong point ( ya dont say) lol

Anybody know the risk of breeding seeds in the same house your growing flower in? Different rooms on different floors, don't share any air venting. Makes me nervous.

I've been doing it for years. Flower tent in the garage, veg tent in my office, spare bedroom to isolate males while they're dropping pollen.

There's nothing to be nervous about. The worst that could happen is you get a few seeds from some stray pollen on plants you didn't intend to pollinate. A few seeds will not ruin a grow.

Thanks for the info, this is great to know. I've held off on this just because of the fear of having pollen floating around my house.

Well you're not going to want to run central air conditioning without sealing the vent in the room you have the males. Don't go around the flower tent after pollinating a plant in another room without changing, etc... You just need to be careful and use common sense. Some people act like having a male anywhere is going to pollinate their entire crop. I've never had any issues.
