Hopefully the people at the Lincoln Project start doing a deeper look at politicians throughout the last few decades and start pulling from all of the content (Bush years/ Tea Party etc) and start excising the demons.

They could really go a long ways into clearly showing how what was being said in the 90s in hate radio and TV was being used by the Republicans to sell their narratives against 'them'.

Supreme Court rejects case challenging Pennsylvania's mail-in ballot deadline
The Supreme Court on Monday rejected a case against Pennsylvania's handling of mail-in ballots, dispensing with yet another legal challenge over the 2020 election.

The justices released an order on Monday instructing a lower court to dismiss the case as moot. The order did not include an opinion or indicate which justices supported or opposed the move.

A Republican congressional candidate and four individual voters filed a federal lawsuit against Pennsylvania elections officials in October after a state court ruled that mail-in ballots could be counted if they were received up to three days after Election Day, which legislators had established as the deadline.

Democrats had sued in state court to have the deadline extended due to the expected increase in mail ballots because of the pandemic.

The Republican candidate who brought the suit, Jim Bognet, lost his race against incumbent Rep. Matt Cartwright (D) by slightly more than three percentage points.

Seems the votes really did count and there was no steal.

Many have and written books about it after Cheeto Jesus made them have a real come to Jesus moment. They are clearly liberal democrats (small l & d) and being liberal is the only bar I set, you can be as right or left as you please, just play by the rules in spirit and practice. They have burned their bridges behind them and serve a useful purpose of being an attack dog for Joe while leaving the nice old white man with clean hands. The republicans need to be called out and they are doing it. In a way their donors are like the Trumper republicans, who open up their wallets when excited by the dog whistle blown into a bullhorn. The more these guys attack corrupt and treasonous republicans the more money they raise, kinda a patriots version of what Donald and the republicans are doing, only with facts. Fucking republicans for fun and profit, I have no issue with it.

If he was inside the capital that day, he was breaking the law.

That said, they aren't charging everybody that went in. They're charging people they have evidence of breaking things, defacing things, entering people's offices, etc.
everyone who entered should be charged minimally with misdemeanor trespass federal building.

no one should be able to walk away. no one.

Capitol Police officer allegedly told units to only monitor for 'anti-Trump' protesters on Jan. 6
A U.S. Capitol Police officer reportedly told his units to only focus on "anti-Trump" protesters during the Jan. 6 riot, CNN reported, citing an internal investigation.

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), chairman of the House Administration Committee, mentioned the new report during Wednesday's committee hearing on security failures the day of the deadly insurrection. Lofgren read quotes from the alleged radio transmission of the officer in question.

"Attention all units on the field, we're not looking for any pro-Trump in the crowd. We're only looking for any anti pro-Trump who want to start a fight," the officer said, according to CNN.

A committee aide told CNN that Lofgren's questioning underscores the fact that the Capitol Police were focused on anti-Trump protesters despite intelligence pointing to expected violence from Trump supporters, who were directing their attention at the Capitol and lawmakers that day.

Feds expect to charge scores more in connection to Capitol riot
"Over 400 individuals have been charged in connection with the Capitol attack," federal prosecutors said in the court filing. "The investigation continues and the government expects that at least one hundred additional individuals will be charged."

"The investigation and prosecution of the Capitol attack will likely be one of the largest in American history, both in terms of the number of defendants prosecuted and the nature and volume of the evidence," the Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a set of court filings asking judges to postpone prosecution deadlines.

They are still staffing out the senior positions in the DOJ and the republicans have been slow walking many as much as they can. I think they can probably identify and charge 80-90% of those on the capital grounds illegally and an even higher percentage of those who entered the building through cellphone data, informants and photographs. The focus seems to be on the ringleaders and those who lead the charge in an organized fashion, since their leaders are ratting them out, they will go down hard for a long time.

The real prize is anybody connected to Trump or his minions like Roger Stone or Don Jr and I'm sure they are looking to make the link for a conspiracy case involving Trump. In any case they don't need it to indict Donald for insurrection, there is plenty of time and Donald might be in state prison when they indict him and others for conspiracy to commit insurrection and sedition. Closer to the election in 2022 is better for all this shit, we'll have a replay of the events on Jan 6th, when it will have a bigger impact and serve as a reminder.

Well that's pretty funny
I understand there are women (and perhaps men playing women) who set up rightwing dating profiles hoping to snare them and others. They just have to say they like Trump and are racist, post a stock sexy photo of a good looking woman and it's like flies to shit.

I'm more than a bit tired of all these "FORMER" people talking about all that's coming and nothing ever happens.
