Will I be able to check ppm and EC readouts from a 4l jug of water or will I have to pour the entirety of the contents into a bucket to test for ppm and EC?
of course you can test it, no mater the volume
as long the tip of the pen is immerged in the solution you will get a reading

Will the ppm readout be the same no matter how much water I have left in the jug after I mix it and take a test or will I have to add more nutrients to keep it at the same number ?

Thank you so much for the tips my friends

Yes it'll stay the same in your jug, once tested it won't/can't change, if you mix 2 or 10 litres and use x amount nothing changes, the ppm won't/can't change unless you add more water or nutrients.
Once mixed its good until used but you might have to correct the ph if you keep it a few days.

Should I use nutrient water for every watering or once at 50% nutrient strength then normal water feedings ?

I can't see what medium your using, i think I seen coco?

With coco you need to feed the same ec/pmm every day even twice daily is even better.
Make sure you feed to run off its an essential part of using coco.

EDIT... I see your using promix ignore the above idk anything about using it...
