This seems to come up every few years. It would be a pretty dumb as tourism related jobs account for like 10% of their employment, granted they have many many other things than weed, but the weed makes the van Gough way better. Weed isn't really that big of a draw anymore, at least for Americans.

That said, holy shit the red light district is madness. I liked it a bunch, but I'm a degenerate, so creepy dudes whispering to buy fake coke/heroin next to a hooker in a window while drunk ass English dudes fight in the street is just sorta my jam. I can see why local folks wouldn't want that, I wouldn't want that.
