Auto Cure

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with an Auto Curer! I’m in the market to buy one but want to do my do diligence before dropping $7000. Curious if its good as advertised with perfect cure EVERY TIME and keeps more terps, then without.C7833CBC-2E0F-488B-A1EB-5E61766EF1DC.jpeg

I use a medium size Harvest Right Freeze Dryer which will dry and cure my stuff in 20hrs or less using sublimation. I’ve done a few dries but still trying to find the right setting and time for the perfect cure. It’s a machine designed for food but can be used for weed as well. Buds come out sounding and feeling like styrofoam. I will throw them into a paper bag for a few hours to regain some room humidity before weighing and jarring with a boveda 62% pack. The buds don’t lose its shape/colour, trichomes perfectly preserved and smells/tastes amazing on day one. Below is a pick from my grow journal of Barney’s Farm LSD strain and this was them coming out dried/cured.

My buddy said that same thing about, weed feeling like styrofoam, with the curers he knows of. He didn’t know anything about the Auto Curer either. I know a lot of commercial growers use them.

I want a scientific approach that can be easily repeated. If it’s truly as good as advertised I’d be saving terps you’re loosing. Plus I can harvest and then go on vacation. Can’t burp when you’re out of the country! Also curing, give or take, 10lbs in jars is a bunch of work. Why not stream line what I can. Especially if it does really improve quality of cure.

If I didn’t have my freeze dryer I don’t know what I would of done with my past outdoor harvest. Great thing is that I could trim them into bud forms before I had to throw a good chunk in my freezer to freeze dry later. I use to dry in a paper bag and then jar them up, but this past outdoor harvest needed over 6 dozen 1L mason jars and I used about 27 Mylar bags at 10L volume for the rest of my harvest. With the freeze dryer, it completely eliminates the need to burp my jars and allowed me to seal them up in the Mylar days without worry of mold. I’ve used some of the bags already and all my buds were completely fine. Need so many jars because they don’t lose their original shape going in. Whatever bug I had that didn’t allow me to experience my weed high for the past 2 weeks seems to be going away. Just freeze dried some Chocolate Mint, Creamsicle, Bruce Banger and Diesel Drift and all seem to be wonderful smokes. Creamsicle tastes amazing and Bruce Banger is just wonderfully pleasant and uplifting. Now I have Moby Dick and Lemonchello Haze in drying tonight and can’t wait to try them tomorrow. Moby Dick has a super ammonia like smell, but Lemonchello smells so yummy.

If it is that good the proprietor should become a RIU sponsored distributor ?
I mean if it is so miraculous :???:

Well maybe because they are sold for the purpose of food preserving, and never advertised to be used for this purpose. Plus they are 2-3 months behind on orders because of Covid people panicking. There are many options out there with a quick Google search for personal and industrial sizes. Don’t knock it until you try it because everything comes out tasty as hell and potent.

You can’t argue against how nice a freeze dryer works. My Lemonchello Haze that I chopped Friday and smoked this bad boy yesterday. Sweet citrus taste with hints of creaminess on the exhale. Had me giggling and mellow for 3+ hours
