White Widow Auto growth ?

White Widow 5 weeks in to flower. Approximately 12” tall. Mars Hydro TS1000.
only had a chance to top it once; other growths were in full bloom & stacking so quick. Is this normal? I’ve attempted to grow before but had inadequate lighting, so this is my first with now hopefully corrected lighting... should I expect much from an auto?

Photo versions are much denser. Looks really good for size and lacking light in my opinion. 12" says you held it up. Running one now to test from Seedsman. Sorry for the news. But what I see.

That’s where I got my seeds from; Seedsman. It’s all trial & error for me; live & learn. I’m not upset over the size, just curious. I got other autos from them that already appear to be doing better. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong, but either I’ll figure it out; or I won’t LOL. I personally don’t use the product, it’s just a hobby for me at this point.

Any advice is of course welcome, just please be kind. Thanks so much.

I apologize in advance. Honesty is not always kind. LOL. And TOO many prickly encounters here.

I'm running this as a problem child in the soil I'm trying to perfect while I can still mix it. Photo's were decent brutes. Autos have been troublesome for all with my dirt. Yet only seedsman. I have a theory. I'll share when settled. Any help until is here.

It looks like you've only been watering around the plant? Feeding and watering is one of the biggest obstacles new growers come across. Subpar light is also another. GL.

No, I took the photos in the middle of watering. It’s in a ‘breathable’ pot, I try to water throughly then let dry out before watering again. My lighting is Mars Hydro TS1000. Thank you.

hmmm LOL
All my seeds are from Seedsman; almost all are autos except a few Blueberry that I’m going to try when I get a grow tent.

They can be solid. This is an auto at 5 weeks into flower, grown this 85w in veg and 130w in flower (a TS 600, the new ones are 85w for some reason, and some e27 bulbs for extra coverage. Photo was taken with one of the e27 bulbs on).

This was it after four weeks of growth from seed.

Apparently it's luck of the draw though, and you got bad luck. People just get off on basing autos, but my mate has been pulling 150g-200g per auto for years with a relatively small footprint using GG#4 and Blackberry Gum autos.

Sure photos of the same strain are usually a few percent stronger, and you have more control, but sometimes it's good to just set 20/4 and forget.

On a side note, that is not normal for an auto. Most autos i have grown are three times the size before they even start flowering, even the ones grown outside in unfavourable conditions. Here was a reject auto grown outside last season from a bagseed of BCN my mate crossed with wild ruderalis he found travelling. Was the smallest of the lot. This was it 4th or 5th week of flower. It got a fair bit bigger and flowered for near on 11 weeks.

Thank you; yes bad luck & I are the best of friends from time to time! LOL I’ve had issues with all the White Widow Autos in the same packet....
I have 2 gelato & 1 Runtz growing & they’re already doing much better.
It’s just now starting to warm up here enough that I may be able to put outside in a few weeks, besides that I’m looking for a decent- yet economic- grow tent; I sure I’m losing a lot of lighting without one. Thus far I’ve invested in 2 Mars Hydro TS1000..

Thanks for the info; appreciate it.
