Nug density and potency

Calling all growers for some indoor growing advice from a newbie ! !
I harvested and cured my first batch of homegrown cannabis and I feel that it lacked density and I couldn’t see many pistils on the nugs. When I pick up a nug it seems to be very light in weight and crumbly I dried for a week and cured for about 3 weeks........
Any advice would be much appreciated !

Also, was it dense on the vine? Or fluffy

The nugs themselves were very fluffy and seemed to crumble very easily. And I cured for about 4 weeks. The strain was blue dream I believe

lf buds not dense b4 the dry, it wont be after it. Blue dream is an excellent cultivar even if airy. Some of the best bud ive ever smoked was airy and blue dream. Hope its better than you think it is. Been looking for cuts of that strain for a long time now.

This is why I questioned if you actually grow pot or not @BobThe420Builder. Can you please explain how a longer cure will make buds denser please? That makes no sense. Where did you get that info? How many cures have you done?

Over time it leaves. Thus it condenses, pretty simple really.

I have some Golden Tiger, after a year, or so much denser than at one month.
I have done Black Domina that is hard as a rock after like a year ...

At 65% vs 58% ...it happens

So don't give two Fs what u think.

But not as a whole, lf fluff stays fluff, squeeze as tight as you can, less mass when water is gone.
