Overwatered and covered in dirt

I left my plant out today while I was at work and it got rained on pretty heavily, and the dirt splashed up on it a good bit, what should I do?

Garden hose on mist is what I'd do. I'd also place a fan blowing on them till they dry out if they are in flower. Good luck!

Some straw mulch can help with splashing of soil if that kind of thing bothers you.

If your pot drains well it's not overwatered
