Undeveloped Buds

Hi guys can anyone tell me what is going on with my development of the buds on this plant. It’s a auto glueberry og from Dutch passion. It looks perfect, until you spread the branches and all I have got underneath is all this light coloured bud. I have no idea what is going on because this is my second grow.
I don’t fully understand the science behind growing but I am learning bit by bit, I am a novice in need of help!!!!!! Thanks in advance for any feedback advice you guys can provide on what to do. The trichomes are all amber at the top of the colas but the under growth is completely glassy coloured.

Light dosnt penetrate very far below the top of the canopy which is why we manipulate the canopy open with techniques like low stress training & scrog nets. Its not too late to simply bend all the branches out to open up the lower & middle parts of the plant to more light. Bend them hard dont be shy wont even matter if they crack a bit they’ll love ya for it

Great advice dude, but I am very concerned that the trichomes on the colas are now going to start turning amber in the next couple of days. I made the mistake of letting my first plant trichs go to long and they were nearly all amber and the high I got was just couchlock so I don’t want to let the colas turn amber again. OMG This is a hard decision. Cheers

They still have a week left in them at least

Nice plant. Its not unusual to have buds mature at a different rate, it looks likes your buds at the top are gonna be ready before the lower ones, ive staggered all my harvests, picking the upper buds when ready and leaving the lower ones if they need another week or so.

Got any pictures of the last"amber" bud ?

Because that plant is no where near ready and sleepy weed can be caused by early harvest
Couch lock is different

To me that looks like buds that aren’t receiving enough light because of a canopy penetration issues!

What light?

how far away from the plant?

Any full plant pics for us to see how dense it is?

A lot of us tend to train and manipulate in one form or another to spread out the plant to make it so there are more top colas basking in the full light.

If you dont want "couch lock" Find a strain that fits what you want. In your case "couch lock" is bad.
Grow a strain thats more leaning towards energizing and uplifting.

You harvest when the plant is done. There litterly is NO OTHER WAY to grow cannabis.

I see people harvest early and it's the same thing Everytime. "This strain is crap" or "the breeder screwed me over on strains". Not to forget the golden question of "how do I get my weed to look like yours"?

In your situation. Spread the branches to penitrate more light.
And btw. Nice looking frost

If you don't want couchlock you shouldn't grow a Gorilla Glue Cross. Grow something different and not as potent and harvest it when it's done which will be when there are amber trichomes. Harvesting a potent plant early to get a head high results in reduced yield and quality.
