True I just can't get why ppl let others dictate how they live out their lifes. I had sailors that were in my shop when I was the LPO 20yrs old still had their parents paying for their cell phones, car insurance and shit. I'm like were about to to go get shot at. You make good money why are do you still rely on your parents to pay your way through life?
Once someone knows you can't take it back... They know!
That might not matter in some parts but loose lips sinks ships still applies in some parts lol

Lose lips sink ships even in the legal parts. In legal areas some growers forget that they are still growing a commodity, even though it's now legal. If you have a "trusted bro" who finds about your grow, and he's drunk and spills the beans to his not so trusted buddies, they might feel like knocking at your door with guns and wanting your pounds.

It's not just about "less light" to start flowering, it's really about more continuous dark. You can give a plant only 4 hours of light a day, and keep it from flowering if you have the light intervals spaced properly. For example, you could have a light come on for just one hour after 5 hours of dark, and repeat that cycle continuously and it won't flower. Most cannabis plants need at least 11 or 12 hours of continuous uninterrupted dark time to flower.

I feel like your ignoring the fact that you still need fans for air circulation in your grow. Are you planning on turning those off when guests come over too, or do you not have air circulation fans?
Yes, I do have circulation fans. I guess if I close them for 3-5 hours the plant won't die.

Do plants stressed when they receive less air? Or start flowering?
I already explained to you how light affects flowering earlier in this thread, and how you can keep plants from flowering with just 4 hours per day of light and 20 hours of dark. Please pay attention. However, yes they would likely get quite stressed with lack of air circulation, especially considering how hot it will get if you have no airflow.
