Pruning/topping auto flower

Hi every one, I'm new to growing. I grew one batch of photoperiod plants and harvested them. This time I'm growing auto flower plants. So here's the question Can I prune or top my auto flower plants before they flower with out stressing them out to much? I've red that auto flowers shouldn't be pruned/ topped. But I hear that people do it .

You can top them if you grow healthy plants without any issues. Since you are new I'd recommend against it.

LST can produce just as good results.
