Plant spacing in outdoor planter

Asking for a friend he is in northern Nevada with plenty of sun just planted these clones are they far enough apart or are the roots and branches going to tangle?

i was thinking the planter looks good but a single row would have been better and like 4 ft between plants

4 foot won't be enough. I would not try more than two in that box. Even that would be tight.

I do at least 4 foot between each plant, in a single row. if doing multiple rows at that spacing, at least 6 foot between rows.

Yeah I agree. Those planters aren't wide enough.
