Forcing to flower at week 3 from seed

definitely strain dependant. and I'd even say microclimate depends too. force flowering a plant too young can also stress it and cause higher chance of herms. yes it can work and might be fine but you are rolling the dice.

in OPs situation if no other options I would go for it, and keep a close eye on it just in case.
will do I know it’s not the best situation but it’s either that or I get rid of it, I’ll be happy getting anything over a half oz if I’m honest, just trying to make the best out of a bad situation

Hi so I’m new to growing and on a pretty strict time schedule now for when they need to be done, I should have just got 2 autos but can’t go back now. My understanding is that if I leave them out for 12 hours of light then put them in a dark room for 12 hours I can force them into flowering, I know it’s a waster but at this point it seems like my only option

Yeah, that is what you can do to make them flower quicker, but that won't actually happen until the plant is mature enough to flower. And that has more to do with the strain you are growing than anything else. What I mean... you can run some strains 12/12 right from seed or switch them to 12/12 maybe two or three weeks from seed, and they still won't begin flowering until week 4, 5, 6, or even up to 8, for some strains!

It has to mature first in order to flower, ~ 40 days old or so
I have flipped very, very young clones, when there's excess. Had great luck growing nice, not giants, buds.....did it last summer. Pulled them around in wagon all summer to give maximum exposure to sun. They turned out very well, surprised me.

Thank you very much for the kind dialogue...a very nice way to call me a fucking scumbag liar. Very classy. Where I'm from a lie has serious consequences. As you replied in a post " I'm getting old and cranky".....sounds right......go with your gut.

I envisioned a little red Radio Flyer with a HUGE pot plant getting wheeled around your yard. It struck me as cute and funny. Can you please point out where I called you a scumbag and liar? Thanks
