this light was just tossed together till I get my new drivers and a junction box.

I think @pop22 did, but he put'em on a big red heatsink...so it looks like a 550 rspec I think.
Up to you if you wanna buy it premade or assemble your own fixture.

Thanks for sharing that info, I wasnt aware they sold refurbished ones. Thats def a better deal than my buddys.

Yeah, they started selling refurbs a couple/few months ago. Inventory fluctuates. I've seen the 350R on there for cheap, but it's not listed at the moment: https://horticulturelightinggroup.com/collections/refurbished-lamps

And yes they are worth it! plants finished almost 5 days quicker than ever! Bud dried are so dense they feel like they need a nutcracker to bust them down. And this was just a halfassed SOG I threw together. I'm goning to put a 30 gallon pot under it next grow and plant either a Wedding Cake or Blueberry Headband.

I just took down my pre-production QB 304s when I put up the Diablo light. Almost hated to do it, the 304s have been dam good! But I'm getting twice the light at the same power level, so I had to. I'm getting about 1100 PPFD at 400 watts. I don't run CO2 so my lighting is now maxed out....... on just 400 watts! The old promise of LED growing lighting is finally here.

This girl has spent a couple days under the new light ( which is running at just 210 watts ). She sure looks happy! This is Wedding Cake photoperiod.

My Black Ducks look pretty happy also.

I'm about to make my first run using the Diablo. Never flowered under LED before so I will keep the watts low at first. Around 420 to 450. I use the 550 Bspecs @ 400 watts in veg so the transfer should not be a problem from that light to the Diablo. Another 4 or 5 days and I will install it

Not only did the HLG scorpion Diablo have the highest ppfd.. but also the highest efficiency of any light ever made in the known universe.. it had a better light spread and better light efficiency then any of the Bar Lights it smashed them all!! It smashed Lumatek it smashed Gavita it smashed Chilled it smashed Mammoth it smashed Optic it smashed EVERYONE!! Hahahahaha.. haha Awkward!! haha

All anyone in doubt has to do is look up credentials. Light Laboratory Inc is a credentialed and accredited laboratory. So anyone who disputes HLG's results is welcome to send any light they choose for testing and post the results here. I'm waiting!

BTW, I believe I read that it's $10,000 a pop to test lights.......

It's ~300-700$ for a sphere and/or gonio test presented in horticulture metrics(i.e. PPF) from Light Laboratories. Basic or with IES files.

So the guy going around saying there are dozens of side by sides showing HPS losing every time to HLG but then can't even show or cite 1 single SBS is the HLG rep now?...you don't say...

There are many side by side threads out there. It's not my job to find them for you. I errored on the light test statement and said so. I'm human, I make mistakes. I own up to them. Glad you enjoy your HPS lights!
