1st Grow

This is my first grow. I chose Key Lime Pie (See KL), Feminized, from Pacific Seed, and Strawberry Cough (See SC), Feminized, from Premium Seed. 4 plants each strain. 4x8, (3) Spider Farmer SF2000's, Exhaust Fan with Humidity and Temp Controller, plus a couple of oscillating clamp fans from Growbuds. 5gal Fabric pots with automatic drip watering, below soil level, watering of approx 1.5-2 cups every 18 hours, The watering has been adjusted thru soil moisture testing, and determined to be ideal with no excess soil moisture, and no indications of dehydration. Tent temp is maintained between 75-83deg, and humidity between 45-50%. I water with Tiger Grow liquid at 3tsp/Gal at every watering. The Premium Seed plants were slow to grow, and 3 of the 4 turned out to be males after two weeks of flower stage. I feel Premium Seed is not a good source of seeds, and Pacific Seeds turned out a better product, but not sure.

The Key Lime went to flower on their own after three weeks of veg, even though I was still at 18/6. I switched to 12/12 even though the SC was what I considered small. SC is still starting the flowering process even though the 12/12 switch was a couple of weeks ago. It appears to be slow. You can see the KL behind the SC in photo "SC"

My questions are;
- The terpes seen to still be clear on the KL (See Terpes 1 & Terpes2). When can I expect them to start turning milky?
- Can I harvest and hang the KL in the same tent that I have the SC still on flowering with lighting at 12/12? I realize the fans would have to adjusted away from the drying KL.
- Am I to expect the SC to produce large nugs even though it was sent to flower earlier than what I wanted?
- Is Premium Seeds not a good source for seeds?

And before you think abut harvesting you have awhile to go. I would say for the first pic 8+ weeks and the other girl about 5-6 weeks if not a little longer.

Trichomes not terpes. Don't worry about what they look like for a long time. You want the pistils to all or almost all turn brown/orange and retract towards the calyx. The calyx will also be swelled. That is how you tell if the plant is ready. But you have a very long time left before you need to worry about any of that.

You need to hang dry the plant in the dark. The grow tent temperatures and RH wouldn't be any good for drying if you still had growing plants in there anyways.

Not sure how much of the tent you are actually using based on the pictures but you don't have anywhere close to enough light to use the entire tent space.

question on the retracting part. Brothers in Belgium he sniped one bud off. So he should wait till the orange pistols to retract before harvesting.he doesn’t have a way to check trichomes
