IMG_20210516_192819866_HDR.jpg A larfy mess, but it's mine! First harvest with Aero. It's been a journey with lots of mishaps along the way. This was the first trail run. I'm going to run lower EC next run and adjust the nutrient ratios.

I managed to run a 250w HPS bulb on 400w digital for probably 3 weeks causing a lot of leaf consuming and yellowing.

Next up is building the new room and installing the 2 x Meiju A8 650 when they arrive. 2 x LED + 315w CMH next run. Upgrading as I go along. Cheers!

Ms. Universe seedlings are showing the telltale mutant characteristics in the seedling stage. All of them(3x) show the same trait. They're usually the most potent so maybe I got lucky? Hoping for a dad and a mom but happy either way. Cheers!

The freakshow Ms. Universe seedlings keep growing. A couple of more days and we'll see true leaves forming.
 
It's been a while. A lot of stuff going on during the summer months. I'm going to run one more cycle with the need seed stock then I need to find a new location to grow, sad but true. Here's first time running LED's Hifi4G:

Durban x Mad Kush (Bubba Kush pre 98 x Mad Scientist) didn't even think this girl would survive to the finish line. I think she had hplvd early on and I almost culled her. Kinda glad I gave her another chance because she grew out of it.

AK47's, Kali Mist's and one tall Ms.Universe. I will take clones of these and check sex on the Ms. Universes. I hope someone for the life of me I can keep the Ms. Universe mom's at a friend's place when I have to relocate.

Serious Seeds, very common back here over the pond! Kali Mist is a personal favourite. Haven't sprouted Kali Mist for probably over 15 years. Still got some old regs left in the fridge.

They do have fems. The AK's and Kali's I sprouted are all fems. Very homogenous traits in the phenos. I use regs to get broader genetic traits in crosses. More sativa or indica leaning phenos, more variation in regs.

Did some top off today. EC 1.15, 1156 (μS/cm), pH 6.1, raised it slightly with top off. Will check later. Just though I would post some daily stuff. I only adjust pH at res change and the first two to three days after res change.

Start of stretch. Early signs of light bleaching.. Damn these panels are powerful! Raised the light to the absolute top in my Gorilla 240 and double checked the humidity.

The timer for the humidifier stopped working, well that sucks.. Last run with Hifi. She's been a real Champion!

Perky ladies, they're happier today. Fixed the hygrostat and raised the light. I now understand the overrepresentation of light bleaching with LED's in tents, they're way powerful.

HPS lights on pic for a change. Analogs still work lol. Starting to fill out her structure. I'm better of this run with learning how to operate the system and sorting all the initial issues like how long can you veg and how much hormones ie root supplements should I even consider running?

I've since stopped all the PGR regiments. Only on soil grown plants from now on. They don't support the the new system design because you don't want extreme root growth with small aero root chambers. It's not needed and only gives me more work for no more yield or potency, at least not with this system.

Only following:

Calcium nitrate 15,5-5-5
Mega Crop 2-part 5-12-26(Jacks)
Magnesium sulfate
Potassium silicate 30ppm
One third the dosage of drip clean from H&G
Bleach 1ppm residual chlorine, every 3rd to 4th day.

I ran in to all sorts of issues the first run but still managed to finish. Looking better this far and haven't run in to as many issues as last time.

TRIA makes it problematic growing in Aero, the root mass gets to big for the mist to support them basically. Cheers!
