Thanks hah couple more weeks I’d say
If I said chop them now there'd be 5 people jump in and say wait 2 weeks.....
I feel it's a personal thing. Some want the up high and chop early, others want the couch lock and go late. I watch the pistils first. When they recede I start to look at trichomes. Mostly I run bought seed and get the flowering time from them.

So true so true :hump::grin: For me best place to hang and dry a plant is in the tent so imma chop all three of these girls at the same time. I planted these seeds on 4/20 so it's just over 12 weeks from seed and they veg'd about 5 weeks before I flipped em. I'll take a look at the trichs if everything isn't finishing together. Still have never chopped a plant "too late" as far as i can tell

I've read that the longer you let a plant go, the more THC gets converted to CBD. But my last plant I let flower 100 days and after drying/curing had it analyzed and there was zero CBD. So I don't know about that theory. It was 22% THC, 0% CBD... I just think it's that strain... other strains supposedly produce 100% CBD not sure what happens if you let them over ripen hah

I've only looked at a few THC analysis charts but the plants tested had almost no THC in the first 6 weeks or so. It all built up in the final two weeks or so. Only a few strains but it's probably a good guide.

THC breaks down into CBN not CBD.

My question on this is. Some harvest and all the leaves are yellowing and dieing. And these leaves on this plant are pretty much perfect. Why is some like this and some all dieing looking. . Sure this is a dumb question but curious.

Again. Genetics. How plants feed. Some heavier than others. But harvesting early will give you a headache of hay smelling bud. Not head racing sativa like buzz. It just doesn't work that way. My advise is search for the strain with the desired effects and grow that towards it's potential. Not harvest an indica early for a sativa like effect.

If you grow your plants right they don't turn all yellow and brown. A lot of the buds I see posted on RIU are way crispy from being overfed. I did that myself on my first grows until I learned to feed properly. Even on this grow I did overfeed N slightly and they did do some clawing but never got burnt.
