I‘m new to growing and i just started my first auto grow and i am seeing a few problems with my plants. I was wondering what they were and how could i fix these problems i noticed that some of the lower leaves had crispy edges and were drooping for the left plant, and for the right plant i saw that the top growth had a lighter green mid part of the leaves. I’m thinking it could be light burn or some sort of deficiency. Any help would be great thankyou!281CC75C-93A6-42FE-BCB5-D92F4D408399.jpeg885B625A-8BB1-4A3F-BFA0-CD743F2FC4A9.jpeg59CCD4D8-FD4F-41AD-B8EF-EC353F1AA3CC.jpeg

It looks like nitrogen deficiency, also the edges might be a light burn.

This way we narrow possibilities.
Temp is around 80-85F
Rh is mostly around 50-55%
right now i’m using 1L of rain water Ph‘ed at 6.5 every one or two days i water just when the top soil is dry for about an inch down.
For nutes i’m trying to go organic, running bottled compost teas for now. But i might change later down the line if i need to.
I have not tested ppm though,
they’re both 24 days from sprout.

Medium:
5gal fabric pots
Home mixed soil
4 parts potting soil
1 part coco coir
1 part Worm castings
1.5 parts perlite

This is my setup
Specs for equipment:
6inch in-line fan
6in carbon filter
2 clip fans
4x4 MarsHydro tent.
MarsHydro TSW 2000 12 inches above the plants at 60% power

And needs some nitrogen on the light green one. Honestly I run mine on full power 28 inches up
Could i give it a top feed of worm castings or some other amendment? If i can how much should i give them though, Or should i get a new brand of bottled nutes? I’ll turn the lights to full power and raise them to 28in.

For me... you are just watering a little to often. You gotta let them pots pretty much dry out between waterings! A plant pushes excess water to it's leaf edges, and if it pushes to much water to those edges, the plant cannot transpire that water quick enough, so rot sets in and the leaf edges and most times the left tips rot out and then they turn crispy!

I’ll keep that in mind, thankyou!

Yeah the lights too close for sure. Probably get around 18” from canopy at least, and dial it back to 50%. I’m willing to bet that’s a big cause of the issue. I have 4 of those lights and they’re actually quite strong

Lights too close easily looks like N deficiency in early stages, don’t get crazy with the nutrients yet.

Last thing you want to do in flower is dim the light, and back it off.

Leaves yellow, and die off plants naturally. By my 2nd week into the stretch.. I have anywhere from 1-4 leaves down on the bottom that look like they are dying in some way. I'd just snip the damaged leaves.. raise the light to 18-20" and blast them at 100%. You're flowering, and want all the light you can get on those leaves. That's just my opinion after learning over the last 18 months.

I couldn’t get my light to 100% until the last few weeks, before then they would stress out.

Either way always ease into a light increase over a few days.
