mine sometimes geta little brown, but it usually goes away if i leave it alone. my ph is over 6 tho with the aerogarden nutes. what's an ideal ph, as i'll be adding gen. hydro nutes tomorrow for the first time

Yea thats what i read in a post a while back,i dont remember who but,he says with the ag nutes he always got those lil brown spots.And i can relate to that cause whenever i fist got my Ag thats all the nutes i had and i rememger the lil brown spots until i got the Gen Hydro Flora line and it all clreared up!

big daddy purp, do you have any tips on using the flora line? i'm startin mine tomorrow and was wondering if there was anything i should know. i'm going with the "aggressive growth" concentration and wanted to know if i should use as much as it says or start weak b/c the sprouts are only 2 weeks old. let me know if you have any tips, help, etc for using gen. hydro stuff. i'm going to use kool bloom and florakleen also with this grow. thanks man

you wanna start off a lil week to see how your plants react to it and slowly increase the strength.They also got directions on the bottles.Thats what i do by.

word. so you think like half of what it calls for of each should be weak enough? then let that run for 2 weeks, then step up to full strength? i'm stoked about puttin in the plant steroids gonna watch my babies GROW!

for the first 2 weeks i just use a root stimulator(Canna rhizotonic) and it de-stresses PH (5.9-6.0).some good ass shit!
Then ill use the lightest dose on the bottle for about a week and then go to a stronger dose (Ph 6.3).its like you gotta get the plants used to the nutes and see how they react so youll know the optimum feeding dose!

hey everyone im back. I have been extremely busy with college and havent been on hea at all. well i lost all of my first set of plants except for the strong and healthy lookin violator kush. I ended up putting 3 mid grade good bag seeds in my fish tank and they ended up becomin like 3-4 inches in length before i transplanted them into the AG.. Well thats about it for now im uploadin the pics for new update now

Doesn't that foil create extra heat and hot spots? Most foil actually isn't that reflective I dont think. Mylar.... if you must. You could get a spray can of KRYLON brand paint in High Gloss FINISH @ your local ACE hardware and clean and sand, just the top, lightly, then spray paint it a couple LIGHT coats of white. That's great stuff ,btw. I'm just sayin.

good idea hairy. will prob do that after this grow. looking into building a little 3 gallon dwc for 5 plants next. gonna get into those autoflowering dwarfs

ur probally right man but i live in the north and it gets down to like 35 degrees in my house at night. I have to compensate for the cold big time. So i have my lights on 24/7 to get as much heat in that room as possible. I also added 3 more cfl's to keep the temp up.. I havent seen ne burn spots yet but ill keep checkin.. I just like it because it reflects light 100%. So my plants are getting light on every inch of the plant. Thanks for the good idea though about the gloss paint. I plan on building a box for my AG and need to insulate the closet better next time so i can use my home made bubbleponics system

If i were you i would have that lil space wrapped in that security blanket shot cause that will help to keep the heat in!Thats what they are made for and thats what you need to make the temp rise in the closet!And plus its way more reflective than foil.If its so cold in there,,,then you need a hot spot!

Thats waht i got up on the wall is that mylar blanket shit. I think im doin pretty good. And the plants are comin along very well even though they are on a 24/0 light schedule for veggin right now. I read under the SOG effect that puttin ur lights durin vegg to 24/0 can cut almost a month off ur growin time

yea...i would run 24/0 but im runnin hid and it gets HOT!im a stick with 18/6.Lookin gook though.

Thanks Hairy.. The kush is a fem seed so she should be a she. The other 3 are the ones im worried about.. They are lookin better and better everyday. I just added more nutes to the rez today. Two small nutes from the master gardeners kit. Ill have updated pics on friday
