clawing leavesmor

Hey…. When you water, do you water from the top, or do you water the tray at the bottom and let the plants suck it in?

if you water from the bottom at the tray, you can get salt build up sometimes.

watering from the top can help.

Yes theres your answer, hot mix. The one can handle it.

thanks matey, any autos you would recommend?
Dont run autos as they take too long imo! I lst so end up with big plants but if l were to suggest something awesome it would be Thug pug genetics if you can get any. Not sure if make autos. But photos easier than autoflowers. Imo only! Faster by far. Feed will be needed imo. Can reamend by topdressing too.

I’ve never grown nitrogen sensitive plants before…. I am wondering if less nitrogen equates to less chlorophyll, and what that does to flavor.. enhancing the flower over the other parts of the plant.

No it doesnt, but it can mess with growth, yellow plants still flower. Might change flavor but no real idea on that. Had some ugly plants produce good flower. Most of my indoor growth is done in flower. Id flush the clawing ones and cut back nutes until they turn normal. If they do. Ive grown a n sensitive photo that clawed whole cycle and wasnt good in end. Sure autos arent that different.

I grow in a basement, in the winter time I get clawing due to ph bouncing out of cal mag intake range. The PH bounces due to temperature of water in DWC… I usually just live with it, but if I notice it getting real bad, I will start PHing so that it will get into that range and stay diligent about it.

using 3 parts GH, the PH is usually in range so I don’t have to adjust it, normally. And from experience and lots of reading, PH bounce is wanted, but you don’t want it bouncing so dramatically as happens with my grow in winter time.
