It’s been several years since I have grown OD. The picture next to my name, the fat cola next to a coke can, is a Oregon Diesel cola!
It’s a stocky thick plant that produces thick heavy colas. Unless you got a variation of the strain I used to grow, you should be done mid-September. It’s also pretty mold resistant, but the buds can get so fat, watch for bud rot. Everyone who smoked it, loved it. But drying and curing have a lot to do with that too.
 
Got a little rain fortunately. The Ethiopian is heavy with rain. There's no way this tropical sativa is going to finish outdoors. It's cooling down into the 50's at night so I'll move it indoors under light pretty soon. I wouldn't even be growing it but it survived all winter in the greenhouse. I still don't know why it didn't flower with the short daylight hours. All it did was show a few preflowers. I'm worried that even indoors under lights it's just going to sit there and grow without flowering.

Sounds like a seriously long term commitment... I hope she flowers for you eventually.

I just brought a plant inside to finish that I really want to end well. The only thing I worry about his how many bugs I'm bringing into the garage with it, since I might be growing in there again this winter. Have you had issues in the past with finishing plants inside that were started outside, maybe contaminating the grow space?

I've never had an issue. I know people freak out at the mere mention of doing it but I do it all the time. Knock on wood...
 
Typical northwest Oregon weather here in Portland. Cloudy skies and dropping into the 50's at night. I think we dipped into the 40's a few days ago. The mild daytime temps are fine. It's the cool nights that mess with plants in pots. Plants in the ground won't be affected nearly as much as the ground stays much warmer than a 3-5 gallon pot which is what I'm growing in. Cold roots are not good.

My plants that are flowering are just starting. They don't look like they're in any hurry either. It's almost September and I only see one or two finishing before November which is going to put me into the danger zone outdoors where I'm at. Shit.

Going to take advantage of this cloudy day and cool weather to do a good foliar drench of a potassium silicate and sesame oil blend later. No PM anywhere in the yard yet but I'm sure it's just lurking waiting for me to let my guard down. I've been spraying weekly all summer in the evening after bee activity has ceased. I spray everything in the yard and garden. The squash plants are PM magnets. It's out there waiting to pounce. IPM is very critical this time of year.

I hope everyone's plants are doing great. Mine are just so so. I'll get some decent smoke if the weather holds though.

Too true. In 15 gal pots in NE PDX and for the first time I am considering a 1000w equivalent wattage LED to finish in the garage starting some time in October...
 
i am there, ended up with 13.1 ounces from the 4 autos,,, the OK on the jar was from an older grow that was obama kush,, i started using masking tape on the jars instead of sharpies on the lid , the meter in the lid always reads a little higher than the better meter dropped into the jar,
