hello there been lurking around these forums for a while now,,this will be my first question which goes like this.when i use my carbon filter it raises the humidity! (surely it should lower it?) i am not to fussed about tempreture like when the lights go of i would use the carbon filter with the hope that it keeps the humidity low instead when i open my tent its like 75% which is to high in my opinion,,been smoking 33 years 13 of them growing gorilla style 50+ plants a time then i lost my house, and moved to a tiny little council flat where ive procured a little space for myself after 5 years with my tent big enough for one plant 2x2 140cm high,,ive never grown in a enclosed enviroment before,,and led is all new to me,,i have a qb but i brought the light board from someone on ebay in america,so being american i thought it would be ok 150w 3500k it veges fine but theres something missing when it comes to flower (namely yeald and thc) so i use my mars hydro pro ll the carbon filter is black orchid with inline fan i use system air fan for fresh air in,,cheers

Pushing or pulling, exhaust point etc...? Size room it's in, CFM of fan? (4" sounds very small and the the CMM sound off chart high) my T6" fan is only 804 CFM which is roughly 23 CMM.

Seems completely opposite from what should be happening...my humidty is always 10-15% higher in the tent unless I turn on the fan and it runs at the same as the room.

For that reason I have ran no exhaust but more clip fans during veg for 65-70%, and turn the exhaust on during flower for 50-55%.

If air is coming in from the bottom, and coming out the top,.you could have an issue with heavy, moist air trapped at the bottom of the room the tent is in.

I had this issue in a garage once. Adequate airflow in the tent, but not the room. The warmer dry air was rising in the room after being exhausted, and the colder moist air was dwelling at the bottom. Happens in cold rooms. Fixed by adding roof fans.

Any time. As a fact, when it happened to me, I was in a small, brick council flat, so I thought I would mention it.

It got worse when I would dry or heat certain areas elsewhere in the house, as it would force the humid cold air to gather in pockets.
