Using real or fake name

I am ordering to a buddy's apartment who doesn't grow. He doesn't want his name used. Can anyone think of a reason I should just use "Current Resident" for a name? half of his mail is junk and is addressed to current resident.

Well you could try it..........or just use a name like John Smith. Ive never tried using Current Resident. The times Ive ordered I used a fake name.
Its your call.............good luck.

Use his Sir Name. If your friend is Bob Smith... Have it sent to The Smith Family or Smith Residence.

The problem with using a fake name is the off chance that you (or your friend in this case) will have a stellar Postal Employee that will notice that the names don't match and send it back.

That's my two cents worth. :)

i have always used a alias for everthing online i even got a free sub to maxium for 4 years and it comes under my alias so if anything comes i know its junk one place sent me a bunch of baby books didnt ask for then sent me a bill was so glad i used my alias for that survey never get a cent from me

That's so simple it's brilliant! Bad-Ass suggestion! + Rep!

I always do some shit like spell my name wrong and use first initial. Like John smith would be J. Smyth or something.

yea has worked great for me and since i get a magazine everymonth under that name mailman wont think twice about another package so glad this place was trying to get me for like 20 bucks but since they dont have it under my name they couldnt even sue

I like the idea of creating an alias and using for other things. I am making an order soon and am going to try "current resident". If someone is paying postage to send to the current resident, the usps has no reason not honor that, right? I will let you know if it comes. I am going to work on a alias for my next order.

Tell us how that one goes, Sending mail labeled "current resident" is reserved for bulk mailings, so sending something first class labeled for bulb probably won't throw up any red flags.

You can always use a made up name.. never hurts. But for something like seeds, I don't think you'd need it; if your seeds get snagged it will be at customs not at your house.

If you are worried aboput getting seeds in the fucking mail. What are you going to do with plants all up in your crib?
