Most news media have the same core belief. That ratings determine how much ads sell for. But the good news is that the Newshour on PBS is still not in the entertainment business. Their viewers pay for it with contributions, so they don't have to worry about ratings, they just worry about the news. And you don't even have to have cable.
I'm not just talking about the media, but Americans in general. Just blows my mind that so many people will change their opinions based on who is dishing the information. Also talking about the propaganda and how obvious it is. How many of you are seeing these stories about people dying wishing they had taken the vaccine. Only people they are scaring with those stories are the people who are already vaccinated. But yeah, now that Biden is in a twist there seems to be some info coming out that under normal conditions one might consider would wind up with the whistle blower in jail.

Not sure what you mean. Washington is always full of leaks. I think it's a good thing when we find out what is really going on.
Depends which way the wind blows. When it's information which makes the people they like, look bad, then whistleblowers are bad.

Oh you mean that they are trying to help their viewers to understand the importance of a vaccine that protects against a very dangerous virus during a pandemic when there is also a cyberwar going on to try to keep people radicalized against protecting themselves and their families by getting it? And maybe trying to explain it in ways that help them to get through to their brainwashed family that are being very self destructive by not getting vaccinated?

That is why there are whistle blower laws and procedures for them to leak the information without breaking the law.
One of which is not to steal information from the NSA and smuggling it to the Russian and Chinese governments to use to attack our own citizens.
