Your Opinion: what strain tastes the most like Weed?

I started when it was all green mexican brick and nasty brown ammonia shit. $50 a q mids were that well cured coffee smelling bud and "blueberry"/ michigan homegrown was $70 a q. Didn't start getting dank till around 99 but wasn't paying no 50 an eighth so sponged off my friends lol
Was $15 a qt in GR for compressed. $25- 30 for seedless green and orange pineapple citrus. Last had in 1985.

Ain't paid since shortly after just match and share. LOL.

I was in kzoo. Got great deals on qps and lbs and sold forever but those were our street prices for a long time. When I started growing in 03 ounces were still $350

First time I smoked was in 1986 and it was the Chronic like everything else was there. I was high as fuck and laughing my ass off. Probably why I fell in love so fast.

$10 a gram or $30 an 1/8.
I found a "Sucrets" tin full of pre-rolled joints around 11 years old in a dried out creek bed all us teens used for a hidden trail. Early 80's. Tasted like corn husks. Smoked everyone. First decent mexi bag seed grow fucked me up and I almost puked. Looking since. LMAO.

A 45 minute drive for insane profit. Luckily my best friend bought bales. $350 a QP tops for me until he got his girl pregnant.

Pine and Skunk are my fondest memories of my early smoking years. I did my time with the ammonia brick weed, not sure how many years that took from me.
Then around the early 2000's, dro came around. Been broke ever since :lol: Brick weed was always hit or miss, but the good shit was fire. Had to be to bring 20/g and 100/q. If you knew someone, you could get a break on an oz, but generally there weren't any favors given.
No idea of the strain name, but it smelled like a skunk just sprayed. Had an incredible fresh flavor. It's hard to describe, but the pine sap was very distinct on the exhale, and went perfectly with the skunk. Im not sure if it was local or what, but it seems like it came around 2 or 3 times a year.

Man I'm not sure how I smoked all the samples with my guests. If it was not just proper courtesy it kept you in my house for a bit to avoid notice. Wow. Those days sucked.

When I was getting #'s of Mex for $300, dank was like $350 an ounce. Some people started charging $60 an 1/8 for some shit. Greedy fucks.

I was in the land of Tahoe OG there in Truckee.

I was generous and only charged $20 1/4 and $60 an ounce for the Mex.

Oddly enough it was original cheese auto from ilgm (couldn’t resist the deal).Ilgm claims 60% 40% favoring indica. No stress let them do what they wanted in 80%+ humidity outdoor with zero mold. Aged to almost 70% cloudy with the intent to mix with zkittles for flavor. Very frosty lady’s. Enjoying them as we speak


Glad yo hear it! I’m looking for that balanced strain without total couchlock but ones that’s not going make start over analyzing my life-or getting paranoid

Actually back in the day chocolate thai ( T stick ) was damn good when i could get a brick. Mostly mexxy strains ( red hair / acapulco ) or Columbian around my parts … always liked the thai but pretty much a unicorn nowadays with so much strain dilution.

Whoever builds a time machine to strain hunt count me in.

Man... it's incredible how many cross breeds there are nowadays. Original land run strains are almost no-existant. It's almost like we fucked this up over the past 40 years. Im not saying that there aren't good strains out there, but finding pure strains are impossible to find.
