New grower, it’s going well I just had a few (a lot) of questions.

All I've used is EWC and I haven't seen a gnat in over 2 years. I do use some neem meal too, but the EWC solved my problem. Free nematodes and beneficial predators. It's just what worked for me. I'm too lazy to be spraying, and like my moisture contained in the pots.
EWC=Earthworm Castings? I had no idea they contained beneficial predators in the poop that’s wild! I will definitely pick some up maybe make a tea I have some bubblers around does that help or does tea kill them?

Ya, try to get decent ones though. Not a bag from Home Depot. Even Wiggle Worm had nematodes and hypoaspis miles.

A low bubble seems to bring out more healthy nematodes than a roaring bubble. I could see them swimming around in teas when I made them. And that was just with the Wiggle Worm. I get it from BAS now. Teas aren't the best for the mites, but the nematodes come out with the bubbling. I hope that makes sense.

Good stuff I’ve been looking into all that and just tried the aza max today but made it abit too dilute. I have been doing some fun research into all aspects of the plant, horticulture is fun. I’m growing 4 strains! I guess I should have just picked one but I like variety. Some were a gift also.
Nothing wrong going the route you are , just takes a bit more time figuring out any problems. Being methodical in making one change at a time inorder to establish what is the proper decision to me made at the time action is needed.

I like both. Organic is more laid back and relaxed. Hydro, they get HUGE fast, but it's stressful. It's cool to watch the growth rate though.
Someone did hydro in this room last year before for their first run. I really feel bad, it looks like they got a horrible gnat infestation that somehow managed to survive the flood tables being dry for a year and have now gotten into this soil grow. Ahhh gotta love the tenacity of nature.

They left the 100 gallon res full and it got gross. That sucked to clean up, it was there for almost a year and I guess the gnats never died.

I had all the equipment to do up to 40 plants with hydro but I figured it’s my first time I did not want to do that to myself. I decided on 20 in 5 gal pots instead

I've bent them much bigger and thicker than that. Just pick the spot where you want to bend, and pinch around the stem in that spot. Then slowly bend while pinching, and working that spot. Just be careful.

Edit: it's not ideal to do it that way though. Start training while they're kinda small. Less worries that way.
Hey man does this LST look good? I put the net over it and the tallest 2 barley touched the top but I could bend them under, so I decided to lst them before they reach the screen to get them abit bushier. Are they good or should I bend even more down to the smallest ones height? I did not lst the small one because it’s growing so much bushier than the rest.

It's kinda hard to tell from the pic. You should aim the corner pots main stems towards the corners of the net. Fill up the scrog as much as possible.

Thank you, that’s the opposite of what I thought (usually what happens lol) I put all the tips towards the center to get better light I’ll turn them around tomorrow. Here’s a closeup of one of them I’ll get better shots soon I don’t know how to take a good picture yet haha.
