I haven't fed it anything yet. They're only three weeks old. I've read the grow faqs over and over again regarding nutes but I'm having a hard time digesting what I read. (dyslexia). It's in Miracle Grow soil, which I'm told by a few is bad and can give nute burn. Hopefully the flushing helped.

Don't know if it spikes while feeding. ..since I've never fed it. I know, I know...I'm a bad mom.

I have Shultz Liquid Cactus food I plan on giving them on the next watering. I've read it's good for the flowering stage.

I've been living income-less for months now. Finally employed and will have some income in about three weeks. Phew. I can't wait until I can go buy some new stuff. I've been having to cope with the supplies I already had and it's been a challenge.

I'm really hoping the LST plant turns out to be female. The bottom shoots are really taking off.

Plant 1 looks promising, too. It's really full and is really taking off.

I'm hoping plant 5 turns out to be a girl, too. It has darker, thicker, more textured leaves than any plant I've seen before. It's an obviously different strain than the rest. I'm hoping it's a girl and has some decent bud.

The miracle grow could be the nute burn problem. I would switch them into a better soil. At this stage the plant wont be in such a shock but its better to do it on lights out. Try fox farm soil, its great for my other plants. I have a banana tree, Esperanza, rosemary, split leaf and a desert rose all in fox farm outside. They love it!
Im not to sure on the cactus food, i guess just make sure it has proper n-p-k and you should be fine. but remember the plant is a weed so it can stand without nutes until you get cash.

New job starts Dec 1. Hopefully I'll see some income around 12/15.

Haven't given any food yet, since they're still wet from the flushing. After they dry out, I'll give them some food. I'm going to start out at a fraction of what they're calling for so as not to shock them too much.

Congrats on the job and sorry at the same time. I hope the ppl there are nice. As for the feeding, have you read anything about plants feeding plants. Like dead willow leaves and things of that nature...

No I haven't read anything on that.

the job is excellent news. I left my last job in a huff thinking I could get employed again quickly. That was in JULY! Boy, was I wrong.

I'm new to this growing stuff. I don't alter much off course of what people tell me to do. Just got my house last year and have always had apartments & townhomes before that. This is the first time I've had a yard and dirt of my own to play with. The outdoor grow was a surprise.

These were the result:

and I had to get creative and hide them with other flowers:

Cleome is your friend. It's a good camouflager. Had to hide them in cleome, tomatoes and sunflowers.

One day while out on the deck, smoking, I threw some seeds in some dirt. That was in May of last year. They ALL sprouted. Then I was like, "oh, shit, what do I do now?" Got online and read and read and read. I had 17 sprouts. They got to be about 2 feet tall and I panicked. Boyfriend was not happy with the jungle out back. I cut the smallest ones down and ended up with five. I didn't know about the 'ditch the males' thing. Should have waited until I knew the sex but they were taking over the deck and were getting hard to hide. 5 turned out to be females. 2 died from over nuting. 3 survived. 1 of those three was a late bloomer. I harvested the two, and tried to keep the third inside but stoner kitty ate it one night when he accidentally got locked in the room with the plant.

Next April I try again. :) Now that I know what I'm doing I might actually do well.

yep. He's been known to dig into the trash to get the fan leaves I've cut off while harvesting. I have to have a pot-room trash can now. It stays behind a closed door and gets dumped in different dumpsters across town when full.

This go-round, I'm going to try. As I sit here, potless, and buzz-free for days now, I wish I had. Next year, most def! I'll give it a go and save it for a pot free day.

Being without greenery sucks. I fear I might even be able to pass a drug test now. I've never been able to say that.
