I think bogarts brain is damaged from his choices of drugs, makes no sense, or that a lot of people here care about making sense or as I’ve said before, seem to have core values.

Taliban will probably save more American lives by cracking down on the opium producers then died in 9’11.
That would be nice but about 95% of the heroin in America comes from Mexico and the rest mainly from Afghanistan. Also, the Taliban are likely to use opium and the profits for their regime.

I found this, "Afghanistan, South-East Asia (mostly Myanmar) and Latin America (Mexico and Colombia). Together, they supply nearly all the world’s illicit opium and heroin, but Afghanistan stands out among this group, accounting for around 90% of global illicit opium production in recent years." Looked like an old article so you may be right. But still, 5% would still be a lot of lives.

Lest I repeat myself. I've posted from Wikipedia
Why does it matter where I got the data from if it's correct? Since production has increased in Mexico almost all the heroin in the US comes from there. It's much easier to transport since we share a border. Afghanistan heroin mostly goes to Europe.

"Two heroin sources, Mexico and Colombia, now dominate the US heroin market."

Or we could get the information from the DEA.

SWA is Afghanistan.

"2016 HDMP data indicates that Mexican-origin heroin was the predominant type of heroin available in U.S. retail drug markets."

It matters if it's creditable. That said we need to be informed. Seems logical that Mexico picks up the slack. But THAT WALL! HOW WILL THEY GET IT INTO THE U.S.? WE hAVE BEEN SAVED FROM THE LIKES OF MEXICO. THANK YOU DUMPPPP!!!

Speaking of that wall. All it took was some rain to open the gates.

Part of trumps brand new high security wall. Don't even need open gates as all it takes is a piece of rope to climb over like people have been doing for years.

This will suck if it turns out to be the case.

Referring to it as a "righteous strike," the U.S. Military carried out the last known drone strike in Afghanistan on Aug. 29, claiming they were targeting an ISIS suicide bomber who posed an imminent threat to U.S. troops. But a new report from The New York Times says that it was a case of mistaken identity that killed a U.S.-allied aid worker along with other innocent people.

"Military officials said they did not know the identity of the car's driver when the drone fired, but deemed him suspicious because of how they interpreted his activities that day, saying that he possibly visited an ISIS safe house and, at one point, loaded what they thought could be explosives into the car," the Times reports.

"Times reporting has identified the driver as Zemari Ahmadi, a longtime worker for a U.S. aid group," the report continues. "The evidence, including extensive interviews with family members, co-workers and witnesses, suggests that his travels that day actually involved transporting colleagues to and from work. And an analysis of video feeds showed that what the military may have seen was Mr. Ahmadi and a colleague loading canisters of water into his trunk to bring home to his family."

Additional reporting from The Intercept's Murtaza Hussain highlights suggests the U.S. lied about the incident to cover up the fact the innocents were targeted.

"[U.S. Central Command] claimed in its statements about the strike that there were secondary explosions on site, implying the car was full of explosives when hit. Reporters who visited scene found no evidence of this. It appears to have been a lie to cover-up killing an innocent family," Hussain tweeted.

Read the full report over at The New York Times.
Reading the Times report on it is hard to tell one way or the other though. I can see a situation that the reporting is accurate, but still doesn't mean that there were not other stops along the way.

It is sad either way that innocent people got caught up in the blast.
