Some sort of deficiency

First time indoor grow, growing in FFOF currently on week 4 of veg. Ive only given nutes once, using tap water (pH 6.5-6. and fox farm trio. The top leaves of my plants are losing color, I’ve read a bit and it’s clearly not nitrogen deficiency because it works itself up the plant. Thinking about magnesium, has someone been through this?

It's less available at 6 to 6.5. I grow in fox farms happy frog and ocean forest normally I'll try to water at a ph between 6.3 and 6.7 when using liquid nutrients, giving it 7 sometimes. Epsom salt is an organic magnesium nutrient.

Thanks, I’ll be adding some magnesium. I usually water around 6.5-6.8, I messed up on my typing, but thanks for that pH graph.

Im not sure that's mag but you can't go wrong with Foliar feed of epsom salt.

So I gave them their first round of nutes around 5 days ago, I don’t know if it takes more for them to recuperate or damaged leaves just stay like that. Got a brownish with yellow tip on the leaves now, and new leaves seem to have some kind of white yellow tip. Any guesses?

Powdery Mildew. The white stuff on some of those leaves is what I was talking about. Just check them out.

Lights are LED at 24 inches away dimmed to 80%, giving out 750-580 ppfd. Temps are 81-86 F and RH% 53-60

I think thats because I gave it some foliar with epsom salt. I’ll check for mildew though

OK. Ya, those plants definitely want some Mg, but FFOF should be good for a month without having Mg deficiencies. Makes me wonder if you are doing something to cause pH issues or something. Are you using pH down?

I’m on week 5 of veg now, I was waiting for some signs of deficiency to give them some nutes. That’s when tips started to yellow out so I gave them some nutes fox farm trio. I’m using ph down water is anywhere from 6.3-6.7 and I fed them around 400 ppm

He just gave it nutes a once a few days ago though. So that's why I was wondering if he's been using phosphoric acid to lower his pH for the last month.
