Epsom salt is an organic magnesium nutrient.

Sorry to burst your bubble but it's one of thousands of mineral salts and there's not a thing organic about it one little bit.

I may be OKed for use in organic growing but it's not organic itself. All organics contain carbon and MgSO4 doesn't have any.

It's,(shudder), made of the same kind of things that all those so-called chemical nutes that come in bottles are made of. That's why I laugh at organic zealots that freak about using bottled nutes. Bottled nutes are cleaner than organics when it comes to heavy metals and other contaminants so it's all a matter of taste and perception.

Epsom Salts is great stuff and I use lots of it myself in hydro, soilless and the semi-organic growing I'm into these days.

Stop using the pH down. Not only can it flush all the buffering agents from your soil, but it can also cause a P toxicity.

So I gave them their first round of nutes around 5 days ago, I don’t know if it takes more for them to recuperate or damaged leaves just stay like that. Got a brownish with yellow tip on the leaves now, and new leaves seem to have some kind of white yellow tip. Any guesses?

That my friend is the onset of nute burn. Fed them too soon.

Some stems are green others are purple but they’ve always been like that, since breaking ground. Strain is granddaddy purple so maybe genetics.

Since Epsom Salts are “of the earth”, meaning they are a harvested product found in well water, they are considered organic, and subsequently are considered safe for organic gardening

5 gallon smart pots, giving them 1 1/2 gallon, it’s been hard for me watering smart pots, water just starts going out through the sides. I water them 3-4 times a week

Yucca will help, and water slow.
