Why this specific light?Hey there,
I'm setting up a 1.5x3 mini grow.
I'm wondering if this light will do the trick or is it just well marketed garbage?
Thanks if anyone has any pic of this light doing well in this sized tent please post them up.
Cheers
Its a bar style light so it would fit that tent very well imo...op may had other reasonsWhy this specific light?

You will want to run that light at about 200 par for seedlings. Here we go... es180v3 let's see how she performs. Currently 7 days from sprout I'm noticing some of the serated edges curling up. Wondering if this is caused from light intensity does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers
I know it's not ideal but I have a lux meter on my phone currently sitting at 10500 going off a few other posts I've read this should be ok?You will want to run that light at about 200 par for seedlings. Do you have a par meter?
Honestly bro - I don't know much about Lux, but there are quite a few here in the community that will have that answer.I know it's not ideal but I have a lux meter on my phone currently sitting at 10500 going off a few other posts I've read this should be ok?
Yeah I found a website that showed a few tables but they were all light type specific so cant really compare mine confidently as the lux/par levels were all different for each light. Will start a new post and see how I go.Honestly bro - I don't know much about Lux, but there are quite a few here in the community that will have that answer.
I'd start a new thread and just ask.
The es180 is a killer light, for that small of space - I would think it would be in your best interest to find out the lux/par value.
Imo I prefer par measurements .. prob cuz I already spent the money on a meter lol ..Yeah I found a website that showed a few tables but they were all light type specific so cant really compare mine confidently as the lux/par levels were all different for each light.
