I used to grow something I got by the name Pure Kush. Others told me that for them it was Bubba. I let it get away and stopped growing for a while. Ever since I got back into it, I haven't found exactly the same. It's been elusive for me.

Have you looked into CSI Humboldt? I wonder if your Pure Kush was some sort of Triangle Kush / OG Kush / Bubba combination. Caleb has reversed a lot of these and offers S1 packs that you could try to dig through.

I got the cutting from a friend who had been growing from the same mother for at least a few years. He got it from a delivery dispensary in LA back in the early 2000's. They sold the clones as Pure Kush. Beyond that, it's an enigma...

Things are heating up. Found a little budrot already on the Secret Service which is a bummer. Right on a cola where I picked off some caterpillar poop a few weeks ago, must have missed some droppings.

I haven't tried. Do you think it's worth it? I figured it would just stunt the plants but maybe that's better than a bunch of budrot.

The structure of GSC x Zkittlez looks like it's handling my humid back yard much better. Will be going with these types of strains with small nugs from here on out.

Did some heavy defoliation on the Zkittlez x T1000 and Secret Service (two in the back). I've had to clip about 4 nugs total because of budrot.

Going to inspect / clip mold daily and hopefully get an oz of finished bud off each, maybe more if I'm lucky. They're really great strains but just not for my location. Could have done better on the spacing too. Likely going to stake some rebar and pull individual branches out so they can get more airflow.

Mother Nature is playing hardball this year GSC x Zkittlez is having no problems with mold or caterpillars. 100% running it again next year.

Secret Service is giving me a headache with budrot, so I've chopped all the main colas and left the secondaries. Beautiful frosty strain, just terrible with budrot in my environment.
