10 days in to flower and no pistils.

The plants are stretching but this the first time I've experienced pistils taking this long to show up. I'm concerned about light leaks. I've used this tent before, bit I had to break it down and set it back up when I moved. Any thoughts?

Well, for one how old are they? They look a bit young, so pistils can take awhile. I actually let mine even show pre flowers before switching 12/12 and I see them swell in one week. It all depends on how early you started.

Not showing early means less likely for males
In respect to light leaks which for the most part aren't an issue

Go inside the tent with the lights off and light the room and see

Also plants to young to be flowered take longer , so if you rushed them a bit?

Yeah thanks, they were flipped after a 3 week veg... I just though that after this long I would have seen something. I've already called three males about a couple of days ago.

Three weeks from the day they sprouted. They are from seed.

No worries, it takes time when they are that young. You'll see something within the next week, most likely.

That’s the problem right there. Your plants were not genetically mature enough to flower yet. They will not flower until they reach that point. It might be a week or it might be several weeks that will depend on the genetics.

Prob could have waited another day but I think you were correct.

And yeah. Plants flower when they are mature enough to do so. So if you flipped before they were ready to go it may take a lil bit.

I made this mistake once. Looks can be deceiving and it's really just leaves coming up through the branch. Oh well, hopefully he takes this as a learning lesson as I did lol.

I watch tv and have the lights on at night when the lights are off in my tent. That's why I'm concerned about light leaks. The lights cut off at 6 but sometimes I'm up until 12 with the lights on and in the same room as my tent.... Anyways guess I'll just have to keep waiting and checking and hope for the best. Thanks for all the support!
