Watering

My girls going on 5 weeks in flower are in 2 gallon pots of soil and go through about a gallon of water a day. I need to use more for runoff.

I use a moisture meter and usually water with anything under 9 out of 10. Seldom do they not need water daily. The Veg tent with 3.5 gallon pots only once a week so far but they are only about a foot tall.

I've had issues with the 3.5 gallon pot and underwatering with seedlings. Thinking of going to much smaller starter pots gallon or so and putting them in the bigger pots when going to flower.

Do what makes you happy. I do what’s proven to work. You’re probably underwatering or watering too little too frequently.
What about flushing. 100% per day or what?

lol I’m all seriousness. Nothing really makes anyone happy. Least of all watering practices. I was just trying to understand. I’ve never heard anyone recommend anything extreme like that so just wanted to see where your coming from. I see now just defensive and most likely stuck because “ it works for me”.

thattype of thinking was the start to almost all bro science.
Plant will grow no matter what we do. 5% water or 50%. Flush or no flush. Cool aid for or none. There’s alwaysroom for improvement

Flushing is a fool’s errand. It’s up to each grower to determine if they’re qualified for the task.
