Switching from mh to led

Hello guys, thank you for your valuable advice in advance!

my question is, I just changed from mh 600 watts@50% to led spider farmer730 watts@ 25%. My plants 6(auto)are in 3rd week in 5x5 . Are there any specific measures I should take to prevent my plants from stressing? Am I on the right path? How to get the right yield ? How far the lights should be close or away ? Thank you very much.

Keep humidity at 40% - 60% and temp 68F-80F.

Put your hand on top of the plants and if your hand feels warm after a few seconds move the light up, keep doing this until your hand does not get warm after a few seconds.

More like mid 70s / low 80s. Maybe 68 towards the end of flower if you're trying to shoehorn purples.

A cheap $30 lux meter really helped me dial in my distance when I made a similar switch from CMH to LED. It will help you figure out the height and % to run at any given growth stage. I just keep mine at 80% but raise it to the top of my tent during early veg...it's really an incredible amount of light compared to HID. I like it enough I think eventually I'll get an actual PAR meter. Good luck! Your plants will do better at higher temps under LED than HID since they aren't getting all the IR from your halide. My room temp is around 78-80 ish and it's warmer in the tent. You really need to go by leaf temps with LED rather than room temps, but when you are just starting out, just keep them warmer than you would with your halide. A lot of issues people have with LED initially comes down to cool temps.

I did the opposite lol just switched from leds in the summer to Halide in the winter. My plants perked right up under the halide with the extra radiant heat. I like to keep the ambient air temp in the room in the low 70s.

Maintaining 70% until now. So you advice me to maintain the same even while flowering?I am still wondering about the distance. Thank you
I meant the temperature.

I just looked up the light and it’s 730 actual watts. That’s crazy powerful. I couldn’t find a height recommendation though. It’s probably two or three feet from the canopy during flowering at full power. You either need a light meter, or email the company asking for the distance.
