NEW HYDRO

New Member
I've grown in the out doors in the 70's. Man, things have changed. I have 2, 4X4 Tents with 2 Hydro Crutch lightsd in each tent. I'm trying a Master Blend, Epsom Salt and Calcium Nitrite mix.

The formula I used was:

PER GALLON OF WATER

SOLUTION---A
Master Blend---600 Grams
Epson Salt 300 Grams

SOLUTION ----B
Calcium Nitrite---600 Grams

Mixing 15ML of each solution to each gallon of water to Distilled water. I give the plants

After feeding the plants the leaves turn a rust color and Dry up. Am I over feeding??????????

I gave them just plain Distilled water and now they look like they are dying.

Any one have suggestions??

I am not familiar with your nutes. But hopefully someone will come along that is. Good luck and hope you find your answers.

This is why I stick with organics because you have far less issues and that is a fact.

I think switching from outdoor growing to indoor hydroponics is a massive downgrade, the bud will not be the same quality.

If I was in your position I would do indoor organics and forget about hydroponics.

Please explain in full detail of how the bud quality will differ? Do you have a grow log that we can see your impeccable organically grown flowers?

could you post a pic of the ingredients in your nutes, and a couple of pics of the plants themselves? one close up of an effected leaf, and one whole plant, in regular lighting? that would be a huge help in making any kind of accurate diagnoses

Edit: those were the stock solutions that makes more sense. Do you check the final strength of your feed water before you put it in or ph it at all? Unless your doing elemental parts per million calculations you don’t know what your giving your plants ratio wise. That seems like an awfully high ratio of magnesium in that first stock mix with all the epsom salt, but I’m not familiar with your setup.

Master blend....... 4-18-38 is what google says.
Calcium Nitrite ........ 14-0-0 guessing here.

Guessing its just too strong and not diluted enough.1 gallon to 600 grams of 4-18-38 is strong.Thats like 3 cups.
